Two kids have disappeared from my area, and three more have been found dead. Two others commited suicide recently, because of what the local gang threatened them with. The world sucks, and I don't understand why people get any pleasure out of hurting them, or why they just do it in general. I'm sorry for the girl's family, and I don't mean to be cruel when I say that there are too many other parents going through this kind of thing.

I've only ever watched two animes, but my favorite scenes were

In Bleach, when the cat turned back into her human self, and was naked. The look on Ichigo's face, and when she teased him made me laugh out loud.

    and

In Vampire Knight, when Zero walks in on Yuki in the bathroom, and she throws her clothes. He picks out her bra, then she steals it back. I love their face expressions, again

    Assassin

'Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils'
    -Louis Hector Berlioz

The starlight is beautiful, but dim tonight. It's suicide to travel at night, even for me, so I let Star loose and settle down close to a stream, but not next to. It's a desert out here, so anyone wanting water will come to this stream. I do not wish to be found.

Star is quiet, but I can sense her nearby, grazing. She will rest, lightly, but she is as good as any guard, and twice as deadly. Curling up on my side, I cover myself in my cloak, finding small warmth. The cold doesn't bother me as it used to, but I cannot sleep. I see the faces of the people I have murdered, and hate them with all my heart. I cannot be weak, they had to die so I could live. But I keep seeing their faces, one by one, each staring at me behind my eyes.

I rub them, refusing to cry. I refuse to be weak, even when alone. There is no choice for me. I must remain strong, so the males of my order will not use my heart against me. I have seen too many females fall for their wiles, lose themselves. This will not be me.

Somehow, I doze off, awake, but not quite asleep. The Assassin's Sleep, the special skill taught only to the best. Sensing the environment, knowing what is happening. It took forever to perfect, but once learned it is never forgotten.

Soon, morning comes. I rise, shaking out my possessions that had filled with dust, and drinking a small amount of water from the stream. Refilling my flask, I jump back into Star's saddle and off we go again. The closer we get to my home, the less tell tale signs there are of soldiers. Every city has at least three camps along the way, but here, there are no soldiers. There is a town, a refuge for those who have fallen ill of the murderers, the Carnifax.

Everyone knows who we are, how they are protected. They do not question us, because we do not persecute them for how they live, what they eat, what they believe.

The roads become smaller, but there is grass now, soft blades that tickle the bare foot. I have not felt such since I began training. Too much risk, now that your face is known. There is more water, more life. I can see the eagles above, and the animals in front of me. Livestock are brought here, and co exist with the wildlife.

Guiding Star into town, people begin to back away from us. She is renowned, almost as well as I am. A famous black hearted assassin, riding her steed of doom. Such dramatics, and yet, it keeps people out of our way. The barrier is as cold as it is welcome, for no one is brave enough to get to know someone such as me. What is the use of becoming friends with someone outside the order, when one day you might have to end their life? Too risky, too risky.

Dismounting, and tying my horse's reins, I walk up the steps to the church, still thinking. My masters call us messengers of peace, driven to help those who cannot help themselves, killing a few to achieve a greater good. I have always found this ironic, for in our quest for peace, we cause the very anarchy we seek to prevent.

    Myth or Fact?

So you know, would you prefer to know the myth of how the Grand Canyon was formed? Or would you have to know the logical answer?

(This doesn't just pertain to the Grand Canyon, I'm just trying to make a statement.)

I would prefer to just leave it at myth, because while the logical facts do sometimes answers questions, I could live with those questions. The human race annoys me in that we have to answer everything, and nothing can remain magickal or special, it has to be answered by cold hard facts, or some people refuse to see it. I think there needs to be some mystery in the world, or else we would have nothing to ask questions about and strive to think up answers to.

    Long is long.

Xion I think, was important. While Axel was gone, she became friends with Roxas, and she changed him as much as he changed her. The "emotions" Roxas seemed to feel about eating ice cream alone, and when he saw the seashells Xion had gathered for him, were all part of him developing because of her. Xion also changed Axel, in that he was ready to risk a lot for her, as well as Roxas. This takes a lot, being that all three were not supposed to have emotions. While she is important only in 358/2 days, what would it have been like without her there?

    The Luxe

    Anyone else read this series? It's based on New York in the 1900's, and circles around a particular group of teenagers. I love the detail, and the cover art is always fun to examine. Haven't finished the fourth book yet, but the series runs like this;

    The Luxe

    Rumors

    Envy

    Splendor

Can't remember the author, but I'm going to check into her future work.

Everyone seems to lose their luggage there. Take a carryon where you put all your favorite stuff in, so if they do lose the bags, you have your favorite clothes. I can understand your concern about the bug, but I only had trouble with asthma there. Maybe try to find some of those blow up mattresses? If you suspect something is up with the Disney ones, then you can blow those up and save yourself the trouble. Or report it to the front desk.

And if your parents can get refunds, go to Ireland.
