I really like ME and I'm lookin forward to the sequel. I just pray that they've taken the clunky combat out and either replaced it with something smoother and easier to use, or just done away with it all together.

Well, I saw you on here probably on my first day ... 5 years ago (still can't believe it ...) you posted a lot in th news threads which came like trains because so much was happening. You're from Scotland, so I naturally thought you were cool. I still think the same, and I love your unwaning love for FFXIII, even though lots of people knock it.

Head north to one of the uninhaited Orkney/Shetland islands. Wait until winter until all the zombies freeze and die. Then look for other survivers and rebuild the human population.

I ... actually don't know who you are ... you must've changed your name a few times ... it's hard to keep track. Sorry!

Fawlty Towers (classic british sitcom is amazing), Big Bang Theory, Scrubs or Miranda (only real "sitcom" over here nowadays)

Haven't watched DBZ in quite a while, but probably Older Gohan ... mainly because he just dominates Freeza in one hit when he returns, with other stuff thrown in ...

Depends how I'm feeling. Sometimes I can murder a Curry, others a Steak. However, Chockloate cake is eternal ... it's the 4th "element" in KH ...

    None?

At first I thought you were a bit n00by, but once we got talking on Voxli, you're actually a really nice person.

hmmm ... Probably either Music, Englsih or Biology ... or Chemistry ... or French. I like them all for different reasons.

I tend not to act and just think tbh ... but if I lose my temper, I act first and think how stupid it was later on.

I would probably go to Paris, provided I can stay right in the middle. Out of all of the cities I've visited in the world, it's probably still my favourite. So much culture, life, and always something new to see. That or Tokyo because I'm just a raging Otaku ...

Is that like a temporary Internet file which you can use as ammunition against computer viruses? If so, yes!

Well ... we haven't spoken all that much outside of Voxli, but you always have something funny to say (and are apparently female ... I still lol at that) and are generally a cool guy.

Superhero ... hmmm ... probably Storm from X-men (she has a cool power) or some other one which is evading me at the moment.

I don't really have a specific real life hero ... I more take inspiration from many people and use it to give me drive. Musicians like Nicola Benadetti, Yo yo Ma, Yundi Li are some big ones, and also my old French teacher who sadly had to move to Prague in August last year.

... I went to the room but no-one was on mic ... so I left ...

Weird story, I actually can't remember where the clawtooth bit came from ... oddly. It's probably some strange meaningless thing I came up with. I remember th 35 was totally random because someone already had that name, so I randomly picked 2 numbers on my keyboard XD.

I've had a lot of stuff on at school, and I've also been away at band camp ... let the jokes ensue.

At first (that is, when you returned) I thought you were a bit cocky and arrogant, like you felt you were superior because you were "one of the first". But in lieu of that, you're actually a really nice guy.

Is that a question to the mods or to me? If the former, I can't answer that. If the latter, so long as t doesn't get too out of hand. I don't mind <10. Once it gets past that, it's chore.

Well ... I can't actually say that I remember when we first met on here ... but I remember alwaysseeing your sigquotes and laughing quite a lot ... and I also remember thinking you were a girl ...
Now, however, I think you're a really bright person and you always have something useful and interesting to add to conversations ... and a new puzzle to bamboozle your victims with in the DNGame.

I've not been active very recently, so I don't really have a thread that I like the most. A lot of RP threads I was part of back in the day were very enthralling and I really enjoyed that experience. Also, the Death Note Game was fun while I played it.

As I said above, I don't feel I'm active enough to have an opinion on who my favourite person is. If you'd asked me that question a few years back, the answer would've been CtR for sure ... but we never talk nowadays.

It would be a bit rich for me to want to permamaban someone, since I don't think I'm active enough to warrant that power or privilege. If you stick to the rules and you contribute, there's no reason to be banned though.

... although trolls are an exception.

So, at the end of the cutscene at Yen Sid's tower near the start of KH2, Maleficent appears to return there, or that's at least implied. However, when you go there, Yen Sid is gone, which I thought meant that she either killed him or turned him into a heartless.

However, Yen Sid appears in the secret ending of Re:Coded, so this cannot be the case.

My question is, where did Master Yen Sid go during the events of Kingdom Hearts 2 until he appears again?

    Thoughts?

Do you ever wonder if teachers other members of the education system actually remember what it was like to be on the other side? I ask this because I was just given my timetable for my Higher Prelims. Highers are exams which test advanced levels of knowledge on subjects studied in your penultimate (but most important arguably) year of high school. These exams are mentally testing and require a lot of revision. I was handed my timetable on Wednesday to find that all five of my exams are withing the space of 3 consecutive days, with only about an hour between subjects. That's not even enough time to get something to eat, let alone relax!

You have to wonder at times like this: "Do they even remember what it was like when they were our age? The stress, the pressure to do well?" Surely, if they actually remembered or cared about us doing well, they'd space out the prelim exams in the same was that the actual examinations (organised by an outside authority) are conducted. Considering that they are always banging on about how important there prelims are and how if we don't do very well in the real exam then they can use these to appeal our grades, you'd think they'd make it as fair as possible on us.

Also, there have been many times in the past where I have received 4 pieces of difficult homework all due for the same day. You have to think whether or not there is any communication between the teachers at all, and this only serves to make it more difficult for us pupils.

So what do you think? Do you think that teachers need to think back more to their old school days when teaching their pupils?

Okay, I'm a little late in the game for this thread, but what the hell ...

Like Pride said, there's not really any harm in telling them that these things exist. There's something about growing up and the truth which I've found pretty common. There's a sort of ... I don't know how to describe it ... resonance that goes on when you hear something that's true. Like, for things like Santa and the Tooth Fairy etc, there some a time and an age where you hear "Santa's not real" for the first time and you instantly go: "Yeah, that's right" in your head. I heard this being discussed once for plot spoilers for books and games etc, but its true for real life too. Let kids believe in Santa, there's no harm in it, and they'll find out the truth eventually.

Like wolfie said, it's about the star sign on the day you are born, and like the article CNN posted, this is neither new news, nor is it correct. In the west, we follow the Tropical Zodiac. This Zodiac is tied more to the seasons than to the actual star signs. Therefore, unless the months have magically shifted days, your star sign hasn't changed. In the east, they follow the Sidereal Zodiac which is the one with Osephicus (spelling?) in it. The Sidereal Zodiac DOES match the stars If I remember correctly, so it's changing all the time (I think). So no, your star sign hasn't changed.

I've never had a flu shot before. I was ill a lot as a child, so I have a very strong immune system ^^. I know a lot of people who don't though, and it's great to see these kinds of advances in microbiology. It's really fascinating, especially once you consider that researchers are also close to finding a vaccine for the common cold.

I don't tend to play FPS so Gears 3's out. I didn't play Arkham Assylum so Arkham City's so it's out, I haven't plaed the first two Uncharted so 3's out and I haven't played Mass Effect 1 or 2 so likewise :/

I don't have a lot of money to spend of games because they're so damn expensive these days.

    Ps3 Games

If you like RPGs and Occult stuff, go for Folklore. It's a PS3 exclusive about Folk tales, specifically in Britain and Ireland. It has a darker side though. It centres around the murder of a woman in the village of Doolin, famed for allowing conversation with the dead.

If you want to buy it online, Wipeout HD and Warhawk are supposedly very fun games but don't quote me on it. Also, Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 are on there. They're worth a purchase, since they're quite cheap and they;re hard to et hold of IRL anymore.

I don't really have a game of the year. I mean, some good games came out this year, but in comparison to 2007 or 2008, there weren't that many. I haven't played Birth by Sleep because I don't have a PSP *shot*, and as good as I found Final Fantasy XIII, I would probably be waaaaaaaay mistaken by calling it the game in the year.

Bring on 2011, and I'll tell you Portal 2 or Re: Coded every single time ^_^.

    Dreams?

In Japan, there is a saying about the first dream of the year to do with Mount fuji and stuff.

I had three dreams at the start of the year, and none of them had anything to do with those.

In the first dream, I was sleeping an a hotel room that looked a lot like my regular bedroom. I woke u in the middle of the night, and there was a young woman with a baby in her arms looking out of my window. She then turned, and she smiled, and yellow-green gases started issuing from her mouth. I suffocated and died ...

In the second dream, I was still in high school, but for some reason, one of the teachers from primary school was teaching us Human Biology. There were two young children at the front of the class doing work. One was doing extremely easy work, too easy for hs age, the other was doing degree level chemistry work. I asked the teacher why she was there when this was a biology room. The teacher replied that the girl the youngest person ever to be rejected for early entry to high school (which doesn't exist). I asked why, the teacher asked the girl if she wanted to tell me. The girl told me, with a smile on her face "it's beause I'm sociopathically delusional".

I can't remember the third dream.

What evil says is right, it's like trying to compare a restaurant with a pharmacy. I don't even see the point of comparing them actually ...

And this is only talking about webpage views, what about toolbars? Everyone who uses firefox (a significant number) has the google toolbar.

Also, the thing about facebook is that it brings the internet and real life into the same plain. On here, I'm clawtooth35, an alias for all intents and purposes and whatever I say here doesnt make very much difference in the real world. On the other hand, where facebook is concerned, everyone I know on facebook, I know from the real world (mostly). Everyone uses their real name, and you are accountable for everything you say. It's just like an extension of the real world.

So really, there's no point comparing the two, is there?

Nope, the only time we really use "study" is when you talk about out of school (normally after school) session with teachers where a bunch of pupils go to get help with stuff without the formality of the classroom environment, this is called "Supported Study" or "Study Support".

I think swatting is a very English term, I don't know where it could have come from, possibly the noise pages make when you turn the pages of a book quickly?
