"So Lanern....what might I call this visit as...." Kelveras said approaching him, "its not often you make trips over here..." "Shut it Kelveras...I want to know who murdered one of our shop keepers from your side...." Lanern said ready to draw his sword, "since its a sure thing you won't punish them we will...."
Lanern and his men stopped at the Oblivion gate, "open the gate Oblivion's so justice may be done...." he said with anger in his eyes, "let punishment be given where it is owed and due...." Kelveras peered over the tower edge, "well well...if it isn't Lanern....of course friend....lower the gate....." he grinned, "come and search....I assure nothing is funny here....." he said heading down to the courtyard outside the gate.
Kelveras walked outside and closed his eyes remembering the day he and June had kissed, he slowly opened them, "those were good days...." he said walking over to a high ranking officer, "so captain what is the nature of this call...." "It seems High Captain Lanern is heading this way....with a small legion of soldiers sir...." the man said. Lanern and his soldiers road outside of the gate and started the ride to Oblivion, "make these people pay for their crimes....for it is obvious they hold no justice themselves....." he said riding faster.
"Well atleast since in a manor of speaking you knew about the war....thats when your mood changed...." Kelveras sighed looking out the window, "I remember this little girl...her and I used to play together all the time....she was even my first kiss at 17....." he grinned before gently letting go of her hand, "those were good days...." he said heading outside into the rain. Lanern headed into the knights accomodations, "alright listen up...." he said sternly, "one of our kingdoms store clerks was murdered.....crime never happens unless one of those Oblivion dogs manages to get in here and cause trouble....I want a group of soldiers ready in five minutes..."
"Is that so..." Kelveras said leaning over and lightly kissing her cheek, "ever since this war started....your mood has changed....I miss my princess's smile....." he said with a gentle smile. Lanern sat up when a knight approached him, "what is this..." he said taking a letter from the man and reading it, his hands and the letter began to shake, "those Oblivions....." he said jumping up and heading into the castle.
Kelveras got up from the table and walked over to June, he gently took her hand in his, "when will my princess smile again?" he asked looking her in the eyes, "when Destiny kingdom falls?"
"Well good morning princess...." Kelveras said sitting at a table near a window, "I'm glad to see your atleast up and about...." Lanern sat in the courtyard of the castle, laying on a stone bench, "its been rather quiet lately...." he said, "usually a battle is caused by now....very few days do we actually have peace...."
Lanern looked over Natsuki rather quickly then sighed in what seemed relief, "I'm glad to have you back safe and sound at the castle princess...." he gently smiled, "I was worried...."
Kelveras stood at a window on the bottom floor of the castle and sipped his pint, "what a wonderful day...." he said observing the droplets splashing onto the stone and glass, "truly a fitting sign for what is to happen in the near future....." Lanern quietly walked up to princess Natsuki's door and knocked, "excuse me princess....you wouldn't happen to be awake would you?" he asked softly, "if not I can leave you be and let you continue your rest...."
OOC: Last post for the night, see you all tomorrow hopefully. BIC: Kelveras grinned, "my princess....I will return your smile unto you...." he said bowing, "make no doubt of that....June....." he smiled and left the library. Lanern sat up against a part of the edge of the castle, "Natsuki.....as much as that carefree aura about her is great...." he sighed, "I don't know if its possible for the rest of us....the deep hatred we have and always will have for each other...."
Kelveras's grin turned even bigger at June's attitude, "my my....someone isn't fitting her princess role..." he said gently grabbing her cheeks and making her look at him, "now if I recall correctly...I merely mentioned he would inherit it.....I didn't say he is fit to rule....." he said, "of course we all think you will do a fine job...." he said lightly kissing her cheek and laughed. Lanern left the quarters and continued his walk, "its a hard decision...." he said thinking, "peace....what a great choice that would be....but at the cost of it being a trick by them......not a risk or chance I would choose...." he sighed.
Kelveras grinned walking over to June, "well sorry if I asked a personal question princess....but then again I am captain of the guard and entrusted to your protection and safety....." he said then heading to the window, "after all...your brother will inherit the throne....but what then of you....." Lanern smiled, happy to see they were enjoying their reunion together, "if you all will excuse me..." he said and headed down the knight area, "well...seems the knights are up and about in discussion no doubt about the meeting...." he said heading into the knight dining quarters.
"Just my luck....they happen to leave...and my drink happens to be gone....." Kelveras sighed and ran his hand through his hair, "so princess....what is your reason for not attending the meeting...." he said turning to June, "after all...she even made Vaj come despite her dislike of her....." "It is...." Lanern said before seeing Natsuki and Li coming up, he smiled seeing Natsuki's face, "what a beautiful carefree smile she has....." he said before shaking it off as they came closer, "perhaps they bring good news Kimiko....."
Lanern shook off the embarrasment but still was nervous when hearing Kimiko's request, "your mother....to be honest.....the doctors still have not found a solid cure...." he sighed not looking her in the eyes, "right now...we are just doing the best we can Kimiko....." Kelveras entered the library and found June and Li, "hmmm a prince and princess....but can't say exactly the ones I wanted to find...." he said looking around, "seems they have already left the castle then....." he sighed.
Lanern was a little shocked to hear a soft reply and looked around before spotting Kimiko, "oh...princess Kimiko....excuse me....." he said bowing, "forgive me if I am intruding on your rest....I just felt the need to remove myself from the castle a little bit myself......" he said slightly embarrassed. "As my highness commands....well then...I shall leave you to your planning....." Kelveras said bowing and exiting, "seems I am in need of finding entertainment myself.....hmmm.....where are those brats of his......" he grinned heading down towards the library.
Kelveras returned to the door with a pint and entered after seeing the Destiny king leave, "so....your highness.....what would be our plan now....." he said taking a sip, "my knights are more than ready to follow out any order against the Destinies that you are willing to give...." Lanern turned to the queen, "excuse me your highness...I'm feeling in need of a walk....I will make sure you get notice of the kings and your childrens return....." he said bowing and exiting, "I honestly can't see what good could come with trying to reason with those Oblivion...." he sighed walking into the courtyard.
Kelveras grinned and turned around hearing June, "of course not princess.....your mother wouldn't be that stupid...." he said locking the door, "Oblivion will never lower itself to Destiny....lest I fall in battle...." he laughed and started to walk down the hall. Lanern continued to stay near the queen, "your highness....perhaps we could send a messenger over?" he said slightly nervous, "perhaps I'm just nervous....but this meeting hasn't ever taken place between our kingdoms....or atleast a successful true truce has never been able to be established...." he said looking out the window, "Natsuki....please keep safe....." he thought to himself.
OOC: Basically we started out with both sides (castles) in casual talk. At Oblivion castle, princess Vaj has been diagnosed with a serious disease, which labels her a "Apathic", the effects of the disease are listed on the front page. For some strange reason or another the queen of Oblivion despises her daughter, Vaj, but Prince Li cares for his sister very much despite his mothers attitude. Princess Natsuki of Destiny went off to explore, and was found by Lanern (my destiny character) and they talked a little before Prince Tadami found them and called Natsuki to get ready for a meeting with Oblivion. The Prince and Princess from each castle, the queen of Oblivion, and king of Destiny met to discuss the war and the sudden outbreak of this new deadly disease. Vaj and Li removed themselves when Vaj started to have a moment being affected by the disease, and Tadami and Natsuki as well left the room for a unknown reason. And so far the queen of Oblivion and king of Destiny are still talking about a plan of the two kingdoms uniting for a common cause of ending the war and fighting this disease....or so the queen says. Hope that helps somewhat.
