The prompt was "does my generation have a role in America's future" and I hate the prompt so much that I just threw something together and didn't even really answer the question. But yeah, whoever wants to edit it can do so, as long as you don't make fun of my horrible writing skills. <3 Spoiler My generation is the future of America. We play the most important role because we decide how America turns out, as opposed to older generations whom have already had their time to shine. Our future is bright because we’re accepting, we’re optimistic, and we’re patriotic. As stated in many different articles, my generation is extremely accepting of diverse people. Time has gone by and in most countries, laws have changed. We don’t follow the beliefs of our ancestors and my generation is a perfect example of that. Years ago, if you saw a colored person walking down the street, you would automatically think you were better than them. Nowadays, we don’t have those thoughts. We accept people how they are, no matter what their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etcetera is. Everyone is equal in our eyes. We are also very optimistic, meaning nothing will get us down. Everyone tends to look on the bright side of things, even if it means not thinking of reality. This can help because when something doesn’t go our way, we won’t give up. We keep trying no matter how hard times may get. Just take a second and imagine if everyone stopped what they were doing after failing only once. Our country would be nothing if we didn’t continue trying until we had success. My generation could really be the generation of success, if I’m even able to dub it that. The most important part of my generation is that we are willing to die for our country. This is important because in the future, there will no doubt be more wars. I’m not praising students for doing this, but some teenagers drop out of school to obtain their GED. This just shows how much protecting our country means to some kids if they’re willing to give up their education and risk their lives to serve the U.S. We’re patriotic – maybe not as patriotic as some generations, but the majority of us have grown up during a war, much like many generations before us. Patriotism can be, and will be, passed on from generation to generation. The future will be extremely supporting of our country. My generation is lovers of diversity, optimism, and patriotism. We don’t allow things to bother us – we literally fight to the end for our beliefs and that is what will make our generation unique from others. All and all, our role in America’s future is a good one. I honestly believe that the people that I’m growing up with right now will be able to lead our country to the place that it needs to be. We are in good hands.
I remember one time I made brownies and I melted hershey bars on top of it. It was like, a chocolate overload, but it was so good. ._.
I'm so glad I'm unable to unlock my phone when I'm drunk.
An exasperated sigh escaped Tatum's lips as she rolled over in her bed, being awoken by loud music. She always tended to sleep later than the rest, only because it gave her an excuse to stay away from people without necessarily coming off as ignoring them. Glancing at her alarm clock, it was earlier than she had expected - only eleven in the morning. Groaning, she threw her sheets off of her and slowly climbed out of bed, not really wanting to get up just yet. Opening the door to her room, she walked downstairs into the bar area of the Roadhouse, noticing a few others were already awake and down there. They were much more presentable than herself, considering Tatum had just gotten out of bed. Taking a hairband off her wrist, she threw her hair back into a loose ponytail and took a seat at the bar, resting her head on her hand.
It's really not long at all. It's not even a page and a half, and plus - it's double spaced. But yeah, I suppose I mean proofread. Like, if there's a misspelled word, say there is. Or if I need to take something out or add something in, simply just say. I don't really know how this works over the internet, because I wouldn't know how to show that I edited something. >:
>: My one friend tried editing it for me, but she's all "there's nothing wrong with it" and I'm like "what? I wrote it in forty minutes - there's bound to be a million things wrong with it." I would just love whoever did this for me.
