Nope Marvel VS Capcom and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom are two completely different games with different mechanics. There's no way they would be able to cross platform

Perhaps you should switch to a more quicker character or a character who can cover space fast Rocket Raccoon and Vergil come to mind. Keep in mind there are two kinds of blocking low blocking and high blocking. Most attacks can be blocked low(down+black on D-pad) Air attacks and certain moves(overheads) must be blocked high(just hold back)

I'm actually the exact opposite The only 3D fighting game I like is Virtuia Fighter other then that I prefer 2D as there tends to be more freedom in terms of movement and combos(ie movement in Marvel VS Capcom is nothing like movement is King of Fighters)
