Zack being the game brightened my outlook, considerably. I've always liked him better then Cloud, who kind of needs a kick in the ass to get going. If he doed die, it will be in typical square enix fashion. Otherwise, he might have gone back to where he came from, and is waiting romantically for Aerith there. Then they will live happily ever after and make a hundred pretty babies. =/

Even if it woke up Roxas in Sora, I think that could have happened another way. They would have had to plan that out otherwise. Probably that's why the organization members kept shouting his name before you would battle them. It could have happened another way, though. Namine's happened a different way.

As for if Axel hadn't died, he probably would have vanished. He obviously felt bad, but after providing a way to get to her, I can't really see him helping out anymore. If he had, it would have been a total character change. He's shown to have good intentions, and to "care" about others, but he doesn't ever stick around long enough to answer questions.

Tifa meant to stand up, but tripped. Fearing the worst, she looked down, to see her foot caught in a hole in the floor. Must be from when she had tried to save Xion. Sighing, she stood up, freeing her now twisted ankle, and trying to straighten up the house further. She just wanted to get Cloud and go, how had she ended up here?

"I need to get him home, before...if they come back." She played out the rest of the plan in her mind. She would fight, and let him run. If he could run. Looking back over at Victor, she wondered how long he would last.

Her adrenaline kicked in, and Kayla kicked at the other girl, struggling to push her away. "Stop it!" she half screamed, grabbing at the burns on her leg. "Just leave me alone!" Wildly, having no other ideas left, she swung her right hand, the stronger one, at the girl's face.
