CROSS EXAMINATION --Why I didn't change my vote-- Okay, yeah, I admit I didn't null my vote at first. After all, someone new subbing in is just that--subbing in. Just because it's someone new doesn't mean that the role itself changes. If Blaine had been mafia, then that would mean that Cat would be mafia. I wasn't sure I trusted that Blaine hadn't been mafia, so I kept my vote until I thought about it further and came to the conclusion that Blaine's playing was just the same way he normally acts on the site; it's not sufficient evidence that he'd been playing as mafia. And in addition to that, I decided it was only fair, after all, that I wait and observe Cat further instead of keeping her written off immediately because of her predecessor.

Since Nintendo's the only one I care about HERE ARE SOME OF MY THOUGHTS (which you may have gathered from our first recording) EVER OASIS. LOOKS SO GREAT. Its developers have good pedigree, with Grezzo having done several of the 3DS Zelda games, and Koichi Ishii doing work on the first three Final Fantasy games (notably creating the Chocobo and the Moogle), and creating the Mana series. I really dig the Egyptian aesthetic the game has, and THE NOOTS. THE NOOTS ARE TOO PRECIOUS. I NEED LIKE FIFTY NOOTS TWO WEEKS AGO. The dungeons and puzzle solving and the town management look great, too. I'm so excited for Battle Royals in Sun and Moon (and i still don't understand why they're not Battle Royales). The Pokemon series hasn't really had multiplayer like this before. I just hope my friendships survive it. I know you hate Mario Party with a fiery passion, libre, but Island Tour looks like a fun evolution of the series. Having everyone take their turn at the same time is a welcome and overdue change that speeds it up a lot, and having the boards set up not as standard game boards will make things intersting. POKEMON GO IS COMING OUT THIS MONTH AND I HAVE APPROXIMATELY ZERO SPACE FOR IT ON MY PHONE. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE still looks like loads of fun. Now if only I had a Wii U... I know the direction Paper Mario has taken lately is controversial, but Color Splash still looks kinda fun and absolutely gorgeous for another thing. I'm pretty surprised that Federation Force wasn't there at all. The game comes out next month, after all. They showed off Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Monster Hunter Generations, and Dragon Quest VII, which release in June, July, and September respectively, so why not show off the big August release? I was disappointed, but not surprised not to see anything about the upcoming mobile Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem games. While they do come out this fall, they are still mobile games, which don't get a lot of focus at E3. I just want to actually have news about them beyond the fact that they exist. because i'm definitely going to have space on my phone for them, of course BREATH OF THE WILD. WHERE DO I EVEN START. YOU CAN MAKE A MAD NAKED DASH FOR THE FINAL BOSS WIELDING ONLY A GIANT TORCH WHICH YOU USE TO LAY BARREN EVERY FIELD IN YOUR PATH. GOTY 2017

Zzzzzrrt! Here's the English trailer for yesterday's reveal, with some extra info! Iwanko's English name is Rockruff. Nekkoala's is Komala, and its ability is called Comatose. Zygarde's Power Construct ability allows it to change formes when its health drops to 50% or lower. Tapu Koko's ability is called Electric Surge, and the new move it learns is called Nature's Madness. Charjabug's ability is Battery, which boosts the power of allies' special attacks. Vikavolt's ability is Levitate. Drampa's ability Berserk raises its special attack when its health drops to 50% or lower; it can also have Sap Sipper. Bruxism can have either Dazzling or Strong Jaw for an ability. Cutie fly can have Honey Gather or Shield Dust as its ability. Togedemaru can have Lightning Rod or Iron Barbs as an ability. Riding Pokémon also makes a return from X and Y!
