    OOC: Hey, guess what? I caught up in one of my classes! Just took me a three-day weekend and over 30 hours... But, hey, I'll be able to get on every day from now on, now that my workload has diminished. So sorry about this guys...

    Anyhow, tomorrow we're leaving Genesis and going to our first real world, like it or not. Oh, and we're meeting two of my favorite characters, but not my absolute favorite. Well, two are tied, and we'll meet one of the ones that are tied for my absolute favorite.

    OOC: The problem with Critical is the same as Hit and Evade; the inability to calculate it ourselves. We need something that will affect our gameplay directly. How about we change it to Item Level and Magic Level. It would be a bit different...So I'll explain here.

    The Leveling up system would be changed as in the fact that you will gain the EXP as points, and these points will be directly distributed to your stats.

    When you take EXP, say 2, you can give it to any statistic you want. These points will LEVEL UP a stat.

    Take Tera Roth for example.

    Strength Level 1 at beginning, 2 EXP to get to Level 2, then 3, then 5, etc. Each level up will affect the damage you inflict. If I have Level 1 strength, you'll have the equivalent of 10 STR now. Each level will add 6.

    Defense works the same way, as does magic and magic defense. So HP and MP will be affected as well.

    Now, for Item Level and Magic Level: Item Level affects how potent the item is, and you can choose whether this affects everyone or just yourself every time you level up. Magic Level affects how many enemies you affect, and therefore takes longer to level up.

    Item Level and Magic Level take 100 EXP to make the first level, then 200, then 300, etc.

    OOC: THAT is a good plan, Xegreny... about the death penalties and stuff... but it shouldn't apply on Genesis, but later it should (Genesis is a beginner's world, y'know.)

    Anyway, the reason I don't like Hit and Evade is because it's not practical: how are you going to figure out how often you hit them and stuff. It just lengthens the battle and stuff. So maybe what I'll do is separate HP and MP from Defense and Magic Defense and make them stat dependable as well. So if you add in 1 point to your HP you get 5 more HP? But only 1 for your MP, because you lose HP faster.

    That might work...

    And as for the attack system, it's not very practical either, really. Your defense is ridiculously high, the attack too low...

    So I'm thinking of re-doing it a bit... I'll think about it tomorrow. And I'll add Hidden's bio tomorrow too... Ummm, hopefully I'll be on tomorrow more than just to do that, but we'll see. We'll have to leave Genesis Monday...

    Of course, we'll also meet two familiar faces before then... *coughdcoughacoughrcoughicoughucoughscough*

    OK, so the stats are from Final Fantasy 1: Dawn of Souls, so I didn't make them up. Sorry. I'm currently 'tweaking' stats for more of these fights, so

    Um, yeah....I wanted TR to have a...challenge....MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA! Plus it's a boss, so yeah...It took off quadruple what it was supposed to....

    Anyhow, you are revived, as this world automatically revives you.

    And as for HIT and EVADE, I'm not sure WHAT I'm going to do with them. I had a system, but it just won't work here. I'm thinking of ditching it, and changing them to other things. Any ideas?

    Here's the Shadow's stats.

    Note Strength, Defense, Magic, and Magic Defense.

    When attacking, your attack power will be divided by the enemy's defense power.

    My attack is 16. Divide it by 2, and you get 8.

    8 is how much damage I will deal on the Shadow.

    When the enemy attacks, their attack power will be divided by your defense power.

    Their attack is 2. Divide it by 12, and you get 1/6 or round down to 0. Whenever you get a fraction number, round down.

    Magic works the same way.

    If I use Fire on the Shadow, my magic power is divided by their magic defense. So, 14/2 = 7.

    If the Shadow casts Fire on me (which won't ever happen but...) then their magic power will be divided by my magic defense. 1/10 = 1/10 or 0.

    When you win a fight, you'll gain the amount of Gil noted above, and the amount of EXP.

    To gain a level, you need EXP.

    The EXP to gain a level will gain on top of the other: Level 1 needs 1 EXP...1+1 = 2, so Level 2 needs 2 EXP...1+2 = 3, so Level 3 needs 3 EXP...2+3 = 5, so Level 4 needs 5 EXP...5+3=8, so Level 5 needs 8 EXP, and etc.

    NOTE: The Goblin only gives you 3 EXP, not 6. Messed up, sorry.

    I'm being swamped by a ton of assignments from all of my classes and don't have time to get on at all (except for this.) I won't be on until Wednesday at best, and next Saturday at worst. So, check in at about 6:00 PM-ish...

    It's 1:10 as of this post.

    Anyway, sorry I haven't been here... Thursday, we'll do our real story day...if I'm here...If not, we'll do Monster Hunts until Monday, where we'll finish gaining enough money to buy a Gummi Ship, upgrade our armor and weapons, and get the heck outta here...

    I am so sleep deprived... Never take AP Classes and slack off.... Never....

    OOC: That's good. All right, so when you're fighting, you're going to pit your stats against that of the enemy's...Simple as that. Here are the Shadow's.

    All right, so when you attack, your strength, which is 10, will be divided by the enemy's defense, which is 2. The resulting number will be the amount of HP that will be taken from the Shadow.

    So if you attack, you'll take off 5 HP from the Shadow. This works the same as Magic. If you hit them with a Fire spell with magic power 9, then their magic defense will divide your attack to 4.5 or round to 4 (since you round down).

    Now, when the Shadow attacks, his attack will be divided by your defense. So 2/10, or round down to 0.

    For Critical Hits (hits that take off 1/4 of your opponent's HP automatically)...

    Hit% means how often you will hit critical hits. Evade% is how often you will evade critical hits.
