Words can really hurt if you let them get to you but whenever someone says something hurtful to me I just block it out because it isn't worth listening to so yea
I think that she didn't make the right choice but I guess you can't really do that much about it except try to tell her not to hang out with people like that. But you can't control her actions so if she wants to hang out with people like that it is her choice I guess.
