If SOPA was to go through, which it won't, and if YouTube takes a hit, it won't be down longer than an hour. I'm betting they are preparing to move all their servers to Canada anyway. (YT has to have backup servers all over the world.) Not at all. There is a difference between using the name of something and actually using content. If you think about it, the KHV forum is not that related to Kingdom Hearts. Most of the posts are in the Spamzone with topics completely unrelated. (There is nothing in SOPA about discussing material online)

At least I think it is. Last time I pinged, I think it was in Canada. I may be wrong, but it wouldn't cost much to change the location of the site, and I believe it would be done, seeing how this is actually a source of income. EDIT: Hm, this was a while ago. It seems that it is now located in LA. Also, I don't see what the big deal is, the forum would still be up, it is only the use of other people's content you can't use.

... Why do people believe this will pass? Even if it did it would barely have any effect on anyone, you know why? Because YouTube, Metacafe, etc would move their servers outside of the US.
