HBO miniseries originally aired in 2001.

It follows 'Easy' Company during WWII (from D-Day to the end of the war), and especially their (at the beginning of the series) XO, Dick Winters (Damian Lewis).
It's brutally accurate with all the horrifying details of war, heart-wrenching and emotional at times, and absolutely awesome to watch. The acting is quite possibly the best I've seen, I can't remember one bad performance.
I recommend it to anyone who's interested in WWII and war-films, it's definitely as good as Saving Private Ryan. It is (like I mentioned earlier) quite brutal and gory at times, so if you're squeemish about violence this probably isn't for you.

Personal favorite episodes are Breaking Point (7th episode), Why We Fight (9th ep.) and Points (10th ep., series finale).

It was kinda funny to recognize some of the actors in the opening credits:
"Yay, Charlie (of Life), lulz, Ross 8D (Friends) O.o Creepy blond guy from s.5 of Desperate Housewives, WTF ZACK FAIR?!?!?! 8DDDDD"

    Anyone else seen this?

I agree with the above, definitely go see an allergist. The actual pricks of the Prick Test aren't too bad, it's the itching that can get really uncomfortable, though (I really hate needles too, btw <.<).

Do you know if you're allergic to some pollens? Some of my food allergies are triggered by my other (mainly birch and hay) allergies, and a few of them are pretty odd (all beans and peas, for example).

Just be very insistent about the allergies, if someone tries to make you eat something you're allergic to say "No, I can't eat that, it's not good for me." If they keep on trying to make you eat it, start describing the details (especially the kinda gross ones, if you have them) as accurately as possible, that's usually made people shut up.

I'm not sure if you can really do too much to prevent the attacks, so just avoid the foods as good as possible. Antihistamines and cortisone have usually worked for me, but only after the symptoms have started (and I was kinda... loopy while under the medication >.<)

I'd see a nutritionist, or at least your school nurse for alternative foods. All I can think of is taking some vitamins, but you should ask someone who knows better.

Hard-cider, most of it tastes like soda xD

Try tasting wine, I'd recommend sweet white-wine or sparkling wine if you're not used to the taste. I don't really like it myself, but I'm trying to get used to it via the stuff I mentioned.

Lay off the hard stuff, it's very unlikely you'll enjoy them. I wouldn't try the soda-vodka mix, it's easy to drink waaayyy more than you can handle that way.

Is she causing the 'off'-feeling, or is that coming from an out-side factor? Because if it's from her, you just might not be ready for a serious relationship yet, even though you care about her a lot.

Long story short, on New Years Eve a man brutally stabs his ex-girlfriend, goes to her workplace in a crowded mall and shoots four of the shops employees, before going back to his apartment and turning the gun on himself.

Ugh, I can just hear the anti-immigration people rousing their mobs now...
