Why is it a bad thing? I know pleanty of people who've had relatonships where they knew eachother online and irl but were too shy to talk about it in person because there'd be too many people around. What would be wrong with sending a message saying: "Hey, by the way, listen. I'm too embarassed to say it while we're in school so I'll say it here: I have a crush on you." If you don't say it somewhere, you'll never say it anywhere.
