An Oboe played badly can sound like a Duck. that's kinda annoying. Also, I think that trombones can sound terrible sometimes, but that's more down to the music. There's no good music for trombone players, it's all Modern Classical music and terrible. I agree with Fayt though, it's more down to the Player then the instrument. And FYI, ZRW, they're called bagpipes and they actually originated in Italy, made from the skin of a plucked chicken. Not all scottish people like or play them >.<.

Not really. Year round schools, like those in scotland, get the same amount of education time as you do in the US, just the fact that you get one really big holiday of 3 months and a few smaller ones, whereas, we get 6 weeks of summer and 2 weeks at October, Easter and Christmas. It adds up in the end to about the same amount of holiday, so you wouldn't need to pay teachers more or re-print books with more information etc. Therefor, it wouldn't get any more expensive.

I used that same recepie, and we used the uce-cream maker to do it, just using us instead of the motor to turn the paddle to churn it. Will post pics soon, promise. EDIT: Imageseseses: Happy?
