OOC: Yeah, I'll be gone most of today, so... Basically, the Brotherhood has left the light side of the worlds, but they've left their invulnerable golems behind. If you remember, golems are invulnerable to physical and magical attacks, but they can be destroyed using the opposite element that they control or spirit energy known as chi. The golems aren't all that ruthless, and won't do anything horrible if we go straight after the Brotherhood however. If we want to do that, the way to get to the dark side of the worlds is through the gate in Kingdom Hearts.
OOC: That was crazy...I got database errors for a long, long time... Anyhow...Everybody, tomorrow, we need to decide what we're going to do. Night all.
Tera Roth stormed in just as Nulix mentioned the Prophets of Truth. "NO!" he cried. "Don't go back there!"
Xegreny nodded, and snapped his fingers. Energy bound around Xardius and lifted him out of the cavern, Xegreny following. OOC: Yeah, we're all eating turkey...then Xardius starts choking...
OOC: I vote Nulix...and I'll edit... BIC: Xardius' breath rasps came short and faint, but they were there...
OOC: Yeah! Take a break right before we go into the long haul of what we're about to do!
OOC: So we need to decide what we're going to do next...I'm not going to just tell you, because then I'd be controlling... BIC: Xegreny and Wing poked Xardius' cold body with a stick...
OOC: Read my recap on last page Nulix...Except Bella and Geryl are still in the cavern and Soxas is outside. BIC: Xardius randomly lay in his own pool of blood... *** Tera Roth and Jack landed the ship with a bump, and as Tera Roth was climbing out he noticed Ken lying on the ground. "Hey! You all right?" Tera Roth asked.
OOC: OK, so RECAP - Kardas was hurt by Xardius, and ran away. Sorion ran away too, but told everybody to look out for the golems...Xardius is hurt, maybe dead...Wing and Xegreny are shocked...Geryl and Bellatrix are somewhere...Darxess and Xane are outside... And that's about it. So let's see: Conference Time!
OOC: It's a mega desert except for a small oasis where everybody is. Darxess and Xane are outside, and the rest of us are inside a cave in the oasis.
OOC: We're on a world named Sapphire...
Fire ripped from the sword onto Geryl's arm and repulsed away from him so fast Geryl was left blinking. Kardas kneed Geryl off him and Geryl flew away, landing heavily. The sword spun like a cyclone towards the exit... *** Eclipse spun into the air and landed heavily, but he simply stood as if nothing had happened. "Fools, I can't be hurt when I am in my ultimate form," Eclipse said, his metallic eyes flashing. Hands blurring, he hurtled towards Xane and Darxess, swords flashing a melody of death... *** Sorion took the brunt of Xegreny's energy bomb, and spun through into the next cavern, landing next to Kardas. Kardas spun, surprised... Xardius, Xegreny, and Wing strode into the chamber with the air of nonchalant warriors. The golden sword seemed twisted in mid-flight as Wing used a whirlwind to bring it towards the group. Casually, Xardius reached out a hand and grasped the bone-white handle. Instantly, holy fire reached for his arms. Xardius cocked an eyebrow, gripped harder, and said to Xegreny, "The holy fire's going to kill me. Keep me conscious until then." "Wait!" Wing said. "No time," Xardius said, and leapt forward. Kardas spun back in time to see Xardius' swing that opened Kardas from hip to shoulder. Kardas screamed in pain and spun away. The holy fire, meanwhile, was racing up Xardius' arm, and his skin was turning black under the onslaught. Sorion roared in anger as Xardius spun and impaled Kardas. Kardas screamed again as the sword burnt into him, but because Xardius was not pure of heart, his shot was weak and did not destroy the demon. Sorion let loose a lunar blast. Xardius smiled slightly as the blast hit him in the chest. The Ultimatum flew away, and Xardius crashed into a wall, head first, crashing to the floor in a pile of blood. *** Eclipse landed, stopped, straightened, saluted, and walked away. *** Kardas disappeared, followed by Sorion after his cryptic message, "You pathetic worms have managed to be more troublesome than anticipated...like a sharp edge on a pebble in our shoes. So, we're leaving...but we'll be back, with much greater force...unless you come to us...But I wouldn't recommend that...We're leaving a little present for you: the golems. Find them before they destroy everything. See ya!" And he was gone. OOC: And so it begins...
OOC: 'Kay. BIC: No powers manifested. Kardas slammed into Bellatrix and knocked the sword into the air...it spun away, golden blade flashing... The dancers intercepted Kardas' blows, but were destroyed in the process, the knives nicked Kardas and one even impaled him, but they popped out and the wounds closed instantly... *** Sorion's lunar blast sent Xardius, Wing, and Xegreny reeling. Growling, Xegreny got up and threw his own energy blasts at Sorion, who scooted backwards, away from the explosions. Wing got up and charged forward, keyblades flashing, colliding with Sorion. Sorion's sword flashed one, two, knocking Wing's keyblades away, and then flipped over, booting Wing in the chest and sending him into a wall. Xardius, meanwhile, was running for the cavern door. He saw Kardas knock away the Ultimatum with casual ease... EDIT: *** Eclipse took Orb straight in the chest, but didn't move a hair. Instead, steel plating erupted from Orb's point of impact like a shockwave and covered his entire body. "Hmph," Eclipse said, chucking Orb away. "You've underestimated me..."
OOC: No reason... BIC: Kardas leaped at Bellatrix, his hands turning into sharp sword points black as midnight... *** Eclipse sprinted forward, his hands blurring out twin katanas. He slammed into Darxess like a blurring buzz saw of death, knocking him off balance and prepping him up for an easy kill...
OOC: I can't believe you just asked that... BIC: Jack's ship nearly collided with Darxess' and Xane's as they both entered the area around Sapphire. Tera Roth yelped and Jack twisted the stick around. Suddenly a flash of silver caught Tera Roth's eyes. He magnified it... "You gotta be kidding me," Tera Roth said... Eclipse was here, and he was angry.
OOC: Nothing important, really, just interesting. BIC: Xardius and Wing traversed the second challenge easily, but on the third challenge, Xardius punched the door repeatedly while Wing gave the child an ice cream...Xardius scratched his head when the door opened freely, then shrugged and moved on. Xegreny called to him, and Xardius turned. "Good, I caught up!" Xegreny huffed. "Oh, yes, you did," Alan Graives said, stepping from the shadows. "And now you'll die..." "Sorion!" Xardius barked. Alan aka Sorion, smiled, then spun forward, laughing, long sword in hand, and lunar blast charging up. *** An evil chuckle pervaded the atmosphere of the inner sanctum of the Sapphire. Amy looked around. Kardas stepped from the shadows, his sneer evident. "How were you able to traverse the challenges?" Amy said, her eyes bulging. "Impossible for your kind to enter here." "I had...help," Kardas said, leering at Bellatrix and Geryl. "Now for lunch..." Amy gritted her teeth as Kardas charged forward. "Use the sword Bellatrix!"
OOC: Sorry...It's just everybody was here and I wanted to hurry... BIC: "My name is Amy Sapphire...And I hold the Ultimatum Sword." In her hands appeared a brilliant golden blade, with a long white handle. "Bellatrix, the Ultimatum sword can only be wielded by a female hand. Women have clearer judgment than men, in the sword's eyes, and therefore you must take it. It does not matter if you do not have a pure heart, so long as you use the sword for good, and not evil," Amy stated. She held out the sword. "Use it for evil and the sword will destroy you and return to me. You have been warned."
OOC: See you Wing... BIC: Jack piloted the craft to Sapphire quickly... *** Xardius and Wing encountered the first challenge: a large huge wall of metal. Xardius flexed and...BOOM! The wall exploded. *** Xegreny heard the boom and ran forward. *** Bellatrix saw a small child sniffling. She thought about it for a sec, then produced a doll and gave it to the child. The child giggled and ran off, and suddenly they were in a large cavern. A beautiful blonde young woman stood there. "Welcome to the cave of the Sapphire..." Amy Sapphire said.
Tera Roth shrugged. "The 100 Acre Wood. It's a gateway to another world...pretty nifty. You have to get into the book to get into the world, making yourself vulnerable. And the book's like...impossible to destroy, unless you have the Virus on your side." He seated himself in the copilot's chair, Alyt sitting behind him. *** Xardius shrugged. "Perhaps...if it is...he just walked into a trap. But I have the feeling they wouldn't send one of their members to their death." *** Xegreny nodded. "You're a good man, Gale." He twisted and sprinted towards the cavern. *** Geryl stepped into the next cavern. Walking forward, he was suddenly confronted by sharp points all around him. "Step forward...if you dare." Geryl didn't blink, just stepped forward. The points didn't exist. "DOH!" the voice said. "How'd you know...?" OOC: Second trial, the trial of courage ended!
Xardius pointed to footprints in the sand. "Geryl's....Nulix...Bellatrix...and a fourth guy went in at the same time...Someone really large went in later..." He glanced at Wing, then entered the cavern. *** Tera Roth followed him. "And about that guy...His name is Vecked...prince of some thing or other, and I honestly don't know that much about him, other than he's ruthless and stuff..." *** Xegreny slowly took the ship down next to the one he identified as the one Nulix and co. had taken to get here...
