I've been wating soooo long for that news. Interesting too, we usually have to wait ages after. I wonder if they'll mabe release Re: COM soon here too. I mean, they'll have all of the actors for Spain and France etc. recording for 358, why not do re:COM at the same time?

Whether or not it's a good idea (which I think it is), it is probably impossible because I'm pretty sure it's all or none with VBulliten.

I keep hearing so much bad press about this guy, is he really that lazy! If he was committed to the site then he would have kept it on a good server, honestly ...

The sad thing is that he's never here to defend himself, I feel really *****y talking about him behind his back but he just seems to be bad news all round.

Excuse me but I would have said that A laptop was a lot more dangerous! You could get an electric shock or it could overheat and catch fire!

The chances of this happening are slim to none, seriously, A papercut wouldn't get infected unless it was very deep, which they inherently aren't, and /or was bleeding. I certainly have never heard of someone getting an infected papercut and in any case, anti-viral and anti-bacterial drugs plus a dressing would have it fixed in no time!

But why?

I think the two things are completely incomparable. Seriously, it's like trying to compare a chocolate cake to a wardrobe (okay, slight exaggeration there).

For instance, taking the analogy of the "whether it was free" point. If I was asked if I wanted a free laptop I would probably say no. This is for a number of reasons:

!. I already have on (broken at the moment but being fixed ASAP)
2. I have a PC which I have all my files etc on
3. Getting a new laptop would involve moving everything onto the computer which takes time.
4. I would need to install some packages on the computer which I already have on my PC.
5. Some of these packages are shareware so I would need to get a new license putting me out of pocket.
6. I already have a much better computer as a desktop so why get a slightly more portable one that will just be taken up with stuff I already have.

On the other hand there are many things that you could say about a "free" book.

1. You may not like the book/subject matter etc.
2. You may never read it, just put it on a shelf and leave it
3. In the event that you already have the book in question it is a waste of space just being there.
4. You may read it once and, it having no depth, just put it on a shelf never to be touched again.
5. They can sometimes be heavy to carry around and/or be doorstops.
6. You may have wanted a different book!

So you see, it is futile to try and compare things which, inherently are completely dissimilar.

As for my personal opinion, well, as you can see, my decision would be based on several factors but I think that unless I already had the book or it was by Stephenie Meyer (oh yes, I went there) then I would probably chose the book.

OK, so a member clean-up isn't going to happen so...

Why not have an option on the member list saying:

[click here to see active members only].

Now, I know what you're thinking: How would we do that, surely it would mean making a completely new memberlist.

Well, I beleve not

Surely the member list is a spreadsheet or database correct? And if so, we can use the magical rower of If statements.

I'm not to well read on cding but I immagine it would look something like this:

=if("post count">0,[shows up on list],[doesn't show up]

Or something like that.

This way, all parties win! People who want to keep the members get to keep them, people who want to look at the memberlist without having to sift through all the inactive members can, the reg users numer doesn't go down etc. Everyone wins.

Feel free to add to the suggestion and I hope for your support.

Exactly, I mean some people have said to me:

"You like Harry Potter, well you'll love Twilight !!!!11one!!11"

But it's just not like that. Rowling's writing is far supirior to Meyers and that's mainly due to the fact that Rowling, usually, didn't deviate from standard fact unlike Meyer's debauchery of Vampire Mythology.

Really, really, REALLY, good. I love it, even thought there's a hint of / (I can deal with it). It is so emotive and plausible in the canon too. It just seems to fit.

Anyways, I really like Dan Brown's books and although I believe that Angels and Demons is better than the DaVinci Code, I still like the DaVinci Code. I like the way puzzles and riddles are used. I can't wait for the Lost Seal to come out and I will prebably pre-order it at some point. I will go and see Angels and Demons at some point but for now, this si my opinion.
