You see, I work for Victoria's Secret. Distribution, to be exact. Store Returns, to be even more exact. Anyway, last I heard, stock in Victoria's Secret had gone up by a whole dollar to ~$61.80, but that was on Thursday. I also know that right now is their peak season and like 90% of their customers only shop there once a year. So what I want to know is if anyone here thinks this is a safe bet to make.

I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that we won't be getting independence by 2014 like I'd hoped. Stuff happened, insults were slung, and overall YHVH and I both said a lot of things that he's going to regret. The good news is that I managed to get us something before **** literally hit the fan. It's not much, but it's more than what we had before. We've got this power now, see? Elemental power, to be specific. You won't notice anything at first, but more time you spend around certain "elements" (water or fire, for example), the greater your Affinity to them becomes. Eventually you'll be able to do some pretty neat tricks too, kind of like bending in Avatar, but with more elements to work with. In addition to Earth, Water, Fire, and Air, we also have access to Plantlife, Light, Radioactivity, and something YHVH called Dust, though I've no clue what it is. We'll just have to find out once somebody gets it. It does come with a couple of downsides, though. Each Element has a Contrast and having higher Affinity to one Element means a greater weakness to its Contrast. For example, Fire's Contrast is Water, so having a high Affinity to Fire would make you very weak to water. I don't know what all the Contrasts are, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Hopefully we can figure out everything there is to know about this power before we end up having to go to war with the gods.
If all goes well, 2014 will see the beginning of a new age in which divine intervention in the lives of nonconsenting mortals is no longer permitted. Dualbloods will be forced to give up their divinity or else leave the mortal plane permanently. God worshipers will be allowed to stay under the condition that they pray only to their gods for members of their own religions. This is the ONLY way to bring true peace to our world.
