Hey everyone, just quickly posting this update to inform you guys on a new piece of merchandise from the KINGDOM HEARTS series. Recently I stopped by at GameStop and I noticed the KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days Dsi/Ds Lite Kit. After researching it, the kit is available at GameStop and Barnes & Nobles. With all the exciting news regarding Square-Enix confirming KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep in North America for the summer, its time to show the last promotion from the [KHV] KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep Fandub Production. After a full month of preparing and putting together the first English promotion, the video is now complete. The promotion is about seven straight minutes long, which is broken down into four different sections. Each, focusing on the major scenes from the KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep title. Keep in mind that this is a fandub that is ran by KH-Vids and Chaotic-Gaming. Although it's not official, we wanted to create a feeling that it could be real. The promotion focuses on many different scenes, which captures many scenes that we've completed, but also features new scenes that have not been dubbed by the team before. The production is at it's final ending. The promotion marks the last full cast production. The Fandub production will end in April or May finishing with the ending scenes, where hopefully the official production will take over before it gets any later for its release. The announcement for KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep has been confirmed today by Square-Enix. Although there is no date set in stone just yet, Square-Enix has made sure fans from North America knew that the title will be releasing sometime this summer with it's statement and teaser website. Josh Keaton, who played as young Hercules in the Disney Classic movie "Hercules" in 1997 has been confirmed to reprise his role as young Hercules in KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep, which still undecided in regards to an official release date in North America and Europe. Rebirth:Wings has posted a new interview with KINGDOM HEARTS music composer Yoko Shimomura, which is said to appear in a special booklet that came with this month’s edition of Famitsu. HeartStation has provided the translation below.
Hey everyone, the KINGDOM HEARTS community has been quiet for the past week or two. KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep has been out for almost two months, yet there's still no word for a release in North America and Europe. There have been rumors and tidbits regarding the series, but I didn't bother posting this inforamtion as the information wasn't completely 100%. As for the rumors, apparently we will see new cutscenes in KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep for North America and Europe. It was also said that we will see a new world in the title that will soon be released. Wait, a second! Don't get too excited by this news. Something doesn't seem right about an added world. Anyway, we'll have to see what happens. Currently, KHInsider is reporting that KINGDOM HEARTS Coded is trying to reach a wider audience. They seem to be faith full that Coded may release in North America, but let's file this under rumor mill for the time being. As far as the fandub production, not sure if you guys are keeping up, but here's a reminder that the video feature on the bottom left hand side is always being updated with new scenes. This is a short video from the KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep fandub production. The scene is focusing only on Aqua and Ventus, after Ventus was thrown off the cliff from Master Xehanort in the battle from the Keyblade Wars. This video continues from where the last video left off. This particular scene is where Braig makes his introduction to Aqua, but after Braig finished sharing his humorous jokes it was enough for Aqua to understand who this guy really was. This short scene seems to hold the interest of many fans, so watch closely. As for Ventus, he doesn't have much lines, but that didn't stop me from adding the proper grunts and battles cries that needed to be placed while Ven was still frozen in Aqua's arms. The video focuses on how Aqua has been looking out for Terra and how it is taking a toll on Terra. A new interview with Nomura from Famitsu has been published. FF-Reunion has posted the details of how their may be changes in the KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep title for the Western release. We wanted to know about the next game. Nomura: First we have to release Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep in the West. There have been some thoughts about making a critical mode, along with adjusting the bosses to a stronger level, because we felt they were a bit weak. Megaflare was too strong, so have to adjust that too. If your changing some content in the Western version, does that mean we will see a Final Mix? Nomura: We are not sure. We have to see where it takes us and how much changes there would be in the Western version. We would like to get a "KINGDOM HEARTS" game out at least once a year, instead of waiting so long. Mike's Note: They always want a Final Mix. Nomura should really concentrate on the next title. In two years it will be the 10th anniversary for the series. What about KHIII? Nomura: That's a secret. There is still a game to come out that is a mystery, but it will connect the series. Does that mean the Series will be over after the third title? Nomura: The story for Kingdom Hearts is about Sora, but also one other person. The series is expanding and is also centering on this other person. Mike's note: I really think it's... Spoiler Aqua What a great way to turn the story. I think this person has a huge part, just like Sora. The series is currently expanding!? Nomura: I can’t say anymore than that. I'm not sure if you guys heard, but KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days was nominated for a bunch of awards in the gaming magazine "Nintendo Power". KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days took all seven awards, which includes Nintendo DS Game of the Year, Best Sound/Voice Acting, Best Adventure Game, Best Nintendo DS Graphics, Best New Character, Best Story/Writing and Overall Game of the Year. It's good to hear that KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days won the awards that they were nominated for. The team and myself agreed that the production can have it's own section in the front page, which can be viewed mid-point of the page on the left hand side. Any new videos that are completed, will be seen over in that section. Updates and videos from the fandub production will no longer be added together. We hope, you guys will still check out the fandub production as we will continue to dub the most requested scenes. Believe me. If you think that's the best we can do, you have no idea!
