"You say your friend just died, and yet you do nothing to avenge her? Obviously she wasn't worth much to you. Or perhaps it's not that. Perhaps she was just so incompetent that she couldn't form a team that had the backbone to fight on without her. Even four or five versus one you're too afraid. A pity, I was looking forward to obtaining better cards than the trash that Cure Happy had."
"There is no shame in backing out here." "After all, you can make new friends to replace the dead more easily than you can repair your pride after losing. It is the most logical choice."
OOC: One thing I forgot to mention, since I don't know exactly what cards you're using, if my character gains one of your characters' decks I will use cards that fit the theme of what I saw of the deck before it came into my possession, even if they might not be cards that you would have used.
"So this will be five against one? This sounds interesting. Here are the terms. I'll go first, and on every odd numbered turn after that. You five can decide which order you'd like to go in. Each player will have their own field and graveyard, as well as all other zones. A player may only be attacked after they have taken a turn. The five of you do not treat each other as your opponents, and cannot attack each other. When I activate a card that affects my opponent, I may choose which opponent it affects freely. Furthermore, any effect that has an activation condition based on my opponent can be activated if any of my opponents fulfill that condition, but if they affect my opponent they must be used on an opponent that satisfies the activation condition. Each player will begin with 8000 Life Points. Each player will being with a hand of five cards, and draw a sixth on their first turn. Since I don't have time to do deck editing now, I will combine Cure Happy's deck with my old deck, pushing me over the usual limits for deck and extra deck size. Finally, this is a duel over cards. As such, the moment that a player is defeated their vanquisher will claim their cards. Any cards in their hand will be added to their vanquisher's hand, any cards in their deck will be shuffled into their vanquisher's deck, any cards in their graveyard will be added to their vanquisher's graveyard ect. I trust these terms are acceptable?" LP: 8000 Customs: no Anime Exclusives: yes Manga Exclusives: yes Video Game Exclusives: you may, I wont God Cards: you may, I wont Illegal Cards: no First Player: Me Number of Cards per Deck: your characters 60, mine 120 Number of Cards per Extra Deck: your characters 15, mine 30 Other conditions(luck based cards, handicaps, etc.): See in character explanation. Ask me if anything is unclear. Additionally my deck will begin on the borderline of rule 11 due to combining Zack's previous deck with Cure Happy's, and will almost definitely break it if he beats other characters. This will be permitted for this duel only.
"You may have seen it first, but I picked it up first. You were simply too slow." "But if you like, you can duel me for it. I'd even let your friends join in. The more the merrier, right?"
Zack quickly steps forward and takes the fallen Cure Happy's deck.
Inb4 Ojama tokens.
And that's why we limit hyper librarian, and why arena dueling is stupid in the first place. It's not like adding rules means you need to abolish everything else.
You're wrong about that. Situational traps see usage because they're cheaper. Why solemn judgment when you can Swallow Flip or Curse of Royal? Honestly, I think we should make two generic ban list changes. "Any card that can cause you to draw more than two cards at once is limited" and "All counter-traps are limited".
Correction: One person would be the protagonist, but since we're not watching the show we'd have no clue who it was.
The plot is that everyone has to crawl out of a plot hole, but more people keep falling into the hole :P
I must admit I did not expect everyone to know Future Diary. Is it actually high profile?
Quasar negates, GG.
We don't need good guys. We really don't. All of the bad guys are victims of the same thing. They aren't working together. So we don't need good guys to have conflict.
Please tell me what you're referring to in this post.
If you don't want to worry about remaking your move after you got crowed half way through, don't make a fifty page long turn one that uses the grave. Or monster effects on the field. Or discarding from the hand. Or drawing/searching a lot. Edit: in fact, just stick with PoG > five face-downs, it's OP enough without any help.
Remember when you did a turn one BRD? Starlight Road. Next turn Harpies feather duster? Starlight Road. Miracle Synchro Fusion? D.D. Crow. Miracle Fertilizer? D.D. Crow. The Xyz I was planning on summoning would have beaten Talaya anyway without any help. And it's not a custom. I wouldn't be saying this if I weren't in a bad mood, but I could have easily OTK'd you on my second turn with literally any deck I have ever used in non-random. I could have used specific counters to every single card you played, but instead I used stuff like Malfunction while you use super specific stuff like Pulling the Rug. I could have played a spell before summoning Itsumo, or negated your Book of Moon with my face-down. It's not like I made a million broken customs and then set out to be as cheesy as possible. If I wanted to do that, I know the right combos to have killed you with burn damage despite your Knight, or banished literally your entire deck. Even without a combo, I could have simply banished the next card you drew face-down for the next two turns with light-force sword, twice in a row, and beaten you down with normal monsters. TL;DR: Please, don't act like I was using broken cards and abusing everything in sight.[DOUBLEPOST=1405734988][/DOUBLEPOST]Double post for clarity: Without the use of customs I can turn one do over 8k burn or banish 60+ cards from each player's deck.
Just for the record.. My move would have been stronger if instead of playing Flare > Hellfire I had played these two cards.
My monster didn't even activate an effect and I no longer feel like playing. This game is over, view it as a win or loss however you like.
Have you ever heard of Lightning Vortex? Lightning vortex lets you discard one to destroy all of your opponent's face-up monsters. A two card combo that takes your normal summon, leaves you with a monster with very low attack, the inability to attack, and another negative effect, and can only destroy a single monster with max 4900 attack is hardly broken.[DOUBLEPOST=1405726393][/DOUBLEPOST]*sigh* This is why I post a list of my customs. With the customs I am using, I think that Itsumo is pretty strong, the jumper + cannon combo is strong but the cards themselves are weak, Sniper is pretty strong in non-random, but in random is only usable if combo'd with Supplier. Portal master is strong support, but not amazing. Everything else is mediocre, but can combo with other things to become good. If you look at my list of customs and see a card like Flare or cannon and think that it's broken before the game, we can talk about it then and if I can't convince you that it's reasonable, I can agree not to use it. The combo that I just did would be stronger if I used Entropic Synchron instead of flare, as it would be able to take the cost of Hellfire, attack for damage, and still wouldn't be any different for what I plan to do after BP.
