So I was just doing pretty normal stuff, browsing the internet and listening to music. Nothing out of the ordinary, I hadn't done anything weird or installed anything in the past few days. I'm not sure what caused it but all of a sudden my computer turned off. I figured that I probably just accientally hit the power button (it's located in a weird place and I tend to rest my leg on top of the computer, dangerously close to the power button). So I turned it back on. It got past the HP screen, then just went to a black screen with a blinking cursor (the kind that asks you type something in) in the top left. I can't get past it. My hard drive is partitioned too and I have it ask if I'd like to boot into Ubuntu or Windows, and I haven't even gotten to that. I do have a bootable version of Linux burned on a CD that I got into, and I can access all of my files and everything, so worst comes to worst I just back everything up to another computer and just reinstall my operating systems, but that'd take some time and thought I'd check if anyone had has this problem or has any solutions. I have an HP p6510f, it's no more than 5 months old, I do pretty regular virus scans. Running Windows 7.
