[We need more threads, Spam Zone, so I am posting about my life. >:L] Once upon a time, I began the 10th grade. The previous year I had only joined one club, and while I was sticking with that club, I decided it would be a good idea to join others to look good for college. Even though I'm probably going to community college. So I asked my friends what they were joining, and my friend ... said to me "Hey ..., join book club with me!" (Yes, we have the same name. c: ) I didn't really want to too much I eventually succumbed to peer pressure did. I went to the first meeting, and there were about 6 members, including me & my friend. Plus the librarian. We started our first book and it was all fine. I went to the next meeting and that was fine too, but we were missing a few people so it got a little awkward, just being me and two other people (plus the librarian, who shall remain nameless for later reasons). The year goes on in this fashion, and it eventually just turns into me, this one other girl, and the librarian in the club. We all feel too awkward to talk so we mostly just sit quietly and pretend we don't remember the book. I get sick of this and stop going to the meetings. Thinking everything was fine, I went about my life. Then one day I was exiting Spanish class and the librarian jumped me. She was like "..., you haven't been coming to my meetings blah blah blah stop by sometime and I'll give you the new book." I had to get to class and I was mildly creeped out by her stalking, so I was intending to go back during my free period and tell her that I was quitting. But I forgot. So the next day I was running to my locker during maths to get my calculator, and she was standing in the hallways. I tried to dodge her but she spotted me. She was all like "..., there you are, come to the library!" I was like no no, I have a math test now and I really have to go. So she let me. Later, I returned to the library and tried to quit, but she guilted me into reading the next book. So I tried, and one of the sentences in it was "bashful as ponies." So I swore off the book club forever. She continued to stalk me during and after classes, got in contact with one of my teachers to corner me, but gave up after a few months. I have been afraid to enter the library ever since, and I am kind of terrified that she is going to force me to join when I go back to school this year. tl;dr version: I was stalked by a librarian.

I may be incommunicado for an unforeseen amount of time, due to computer troubles. It started with my mouse breaking and the only one I was able to replace it with lacking a scroll wheel, which as it turns out, I use a lot more than I thought. Now it tuns out that several of my computer keys are not working as well, and given the difficulty in replacing my mouse, I can't help but expect this to be an even bigger problem. To all of you who have tried getting into contact with me or I promised you some graphics, I swear I wasn't ignoring you. Posting it in Spam because (hopefully) this absence isn't going to be long enough to justify a thread in Departures.
Okay, so this was announced five years ago and I just found out about it now and it's supposedly debuting somewhere between 2010-2012, so it is a great time to make this thread! From Wookieepedia: I have really high hopes for this. Yes, George Lucas is the one behind it, and judging from the work in Episodes I-III (LOVE CAN'T SAVE YOU, ONLY MY NEW POWERS CAN), it will most likely be an abomination. But, considering the fact that much of it will be adapted from works in the expanded universe, I'm hoping that the scripts will be heavily adapted from their respective book, comic, game, etc. Plus other people are writing it. And yes, it's an excuse to make money, but we're living in the 21st century here. D: Interesting Facts/Quotes: It is during this period that the newly formed Galactic Empire rises to ultimate power throughout the galaxy.According to Lucas, "A lot of the issues from the films are connected, but you won't necessarily see a lot of the people that are connected".Lucas has described the show as "bare-bones" and "action-heavy". In 2005, series producer Rick McCallum stated that "He [George] envisions somewhere like 100 hours between Episode III and Episode IV".However, in 2007 at Celebration Europe, he said that the hope is to do "up to 400 episodes". Like on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, McCallum and Lucas hope to give each episode the look of a feature film, with feature-level production values and visual effects on a television budget. The style of the series will be similar to Lucas' The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles TV series.Lucas hopes to use the show as a template for how he will do his "more personal films" that he hopes to create. "It is going to be much darker, grittier. It's much more character-based." Rumored Character Appearances: Daniel Logan (rumored) as Boba Fett. Logan portrayed the young Boba Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. He has reportedly been asked by Lucas to reprise his role as Fett for the series. Jay Laga'aia (in talks). Laga'aia portrayed Captain Gregar Typho in both Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and has reportedly discussed yet unknown role(s) in the series with George Lucas. Film actors Ian McDiarmid (Palpatine) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) have expressed interest in reprising their respective roles in the series. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed actor Sam Witwer has expressed an interest in appearing the series (possibly as Galen Marek, Vader's secret apprentice), and has hinted that he may be involved in the show. I was returning home from my mom's boyfriend's fortieth birthday party, hosted at my Aunt's house. We had just played several rounds of Mario Party on N64 and despite the serious burn on my hand from playing that minigame where you have to rotate the analog stick in order to light the lightbulb, it was shaping up to be a pretty swell evening. So anyway, my 17-year-old sister Shell was driving me and my other sister, also 17, back home. I was in the passenger seat (shotgun, baby). We live about 25 miles away, and it was about 9:30. Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" was playing on the radio, which is one of my favorite songs, and I was mentioning the excellent cover of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" that Star****er did. As we were turning onto the highway, this red SUV comes out of nowhere. They're heading straight, and I guess Shell didn't see her coming or whatever, so I start screaming bloody murder and clutching onto whatever I can find. Shell skids to a stop and the SUV keeps going. I jerked forward (thank god I always wear my seatbelt) and I initially thought that we didn't hit them. I looked in the mirrors and saw them going away, my heart pounding, thinking everything was cool. So we're driving down the highway, freaked out, asking Shell whether the light was green, if she had the right of way, etc etc. All of a sudden I see someone tailgating us, flashing their brights, so we pull over. Shell rolls down her window and the woman does too. She looked about thirty, looked latino, and had a bit of an accent. She's like "I thought you were trying to run away," and sounded a little ticked off. Shell explained that she didn't realize we hit, but they got out, exchanged information & such. Apparently she's only got two scratches on her car and ours is pretty okay, a little scratch and dent but nothing major. She's going to call and see if there's any need to make a fuss tomorrow. tl;dr version: we clipped someone and I thought I was going to die.
