I honestly had no idea where to put this. xD

Well anyway, I just got that Kairi action figure. The one where shes in the schoolgirl outfit and she has the bag and the detachable hands and all that jazz. It's a really nice action figure and I'm very pleased with it, but I have a question: are both of the hands supposed to come off? I can easily change her right hand (when facing the figure, my left), but I'm afraid to try with the other hand. It looks like it's supposed to, and I've given it a good yank, but it won't come off. Before I rip if off, does anyone who has the figure have the same problem? Is this just the way it's made?

    DVD Recorders

I'm thinking of getting a DVD Recorder, not only because I want to get some stuff from VHS and record shows on the television, but for use as a capture card for my game consoles (right now only an Xbox and a PS2).

I wanted to know if you all recommend any brands? I want to keep it pretty cheap, something under let's say $75. I was thinking about the Dazzle DVD Recorder, but there are a lot of spare wires to buy which is a bit of a turn off. Setting it up doesn't seem that bad, I'm fairly tech savvy.

Quality is important, but I don't need it to be stunning. I'm not looking for some sort of high-end recorder, just something that'll get the job done, is fairly cheap, and looks nice.

I'm being dragged to it at my little sister's school, which means I'll have to endure hours of kindergartners.

KHV, how can I get out of this?

I've been re-playing Kingdom Hearts II lately, and I was just finishing up Day 6 as Roxas. I was about to enter the Pod Room where you switch control over to Sora, and I decided to examine the pods in the small hallway that Donald and Goofy are in. The pod closest to the entrance said "There's evidence this has been used before."

My question is, do we know when this pod was used?

I've been playing around in Illustrator lately, and as a practice I thought I'd try to do a portrait of the world's hottest French boy. Since Illustrator makes vector images it's pretty big, and I can make it as big as I want without it getting pixel-y. :]

I'm not really happy with the mouth and he looks a bit old, but I thought I'd post and get some cnc.

and then all of a sudden I hear whispering. I guess that I'm just hearing things and go back to what I was doing.

More whispering. And not the sort of whispering where you're lowering your voice enough, the kind where it's very broken up and scary.

All of a sudden I make out "... go to sleep."

And there's my mom, standing in the doorway, unaware that I just about pissed myself.

This is what I do when nobody is posting anything exciting.

    HOW TO PLAY:

    1. Go to the Member List.
    2. Click on the letter of your first name. (for example, my name is ..., so I would click on 'C')
    3. Count the number of letters in your last name. Go to the corresponding page. (so if your last name has five letters, go to page five)
    4. Pick the weirdest avatar and username from the list and post it.

    Oren Lavie

"Oren Lavie names his musical predecessors as Tom Waits, Jacques Brel, and Leonard Cohen. At the core of his melody-oriented compositions there is always the piano or the guitar with his singing, enriched by string arrangements (cello solo, quartet, chamber orchestra) and various, mainly non-electronical instruments added occasionally, giving each of the songs a unique style and color."

I originally found this guy through my Communication Systems class. We're doing stop-motion videos and this guy become pretty popular on YouTube for his beautiful stop-motion video featuring his song Her Morning Elegance. I just downloaded his album so I haven't heard all of it but it's really good so far.
