Adolf Hitler: Killed 12 million people as a scapegoat for Germany's troubles. Christian, but didn't think fondly of the church. Who deserves Heaven, if it exists?
Why did he HAVE to suffer? For an omnipotent being, he didn't do much. Go to my thread in the Debate Corner to debate about salvation. Also, I think that a change in thread name is in order. It should not be "Evolution vs. Religion". Many religious people accept evolution. It should be "Evolution vs. Creationism"
Hate to break it to ya, but I don't see how letting someone be punished for all eternity for having a diffirent viewpoint constitutes as "love." Ofcourse, many Christians believe that God doesn't give a crap about what you believe. All ya gotta do is live a good life. Also, Jesus threw out Leviticus, so homosexuality is NOT a sin according to the Bible.
It kinda puts it into perspective. The church cares more about who you sleep with than how much you help.

What the hell are you talking about? The Gospel of Thomas was part of the Dead Sea Scrolls. ^Yeah, but many of the Gospels in the Dead Sea Scrolls goes COMPLETELY what the church teaches, so it's not a good idea to use them as evidence.
Do you actually believe that those scrolls are true (as in, do they the truth?)?! According to the Gospel of Thomas, when he was a kid Jesus killed a young boy because the boy's father got him in trouble! Among other things.

What we REALLY need to do is get parents to get their kids interested in learning and get better teachers who will catch your attention and teach the things you NEED to know to get a good high paying job and use critical thinking.
Strawman alert! You obviously have no understanding of the big bang theory. According to the 1st Law of Thermodynamics, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. The big bang theory does not claim that the universe was created from nothing. It merely claims that the all energy in the universe was squeezed into an infinitely small point and 'sploded. The galaxies are all moving away from each other from a fixed point (minus gravity phenomena like the Milky Way's course for Andromeda). Background radiation has no other explanation than leftovers from an explosion too big to be described in the English language. EDIT: I'd also like to add how can a 2,000 year old book that has been horrible mistranslated and muddled and have ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF have anything about truth written it in? No profound truth would written in a book.

Not being a homophobe isn't an atheist view. It's more of a liberal view (a liberal is a person who agrees with the advancement of society and peaceful coexistence with other cultures, and usually uphold knowledge), like me.

You cannot gain "Truth" listening to other people. I have no religion; I am agnostic. That's because no profound knowledge can be found in a book, or just told to you. You must find it on your own.
