Humans are animals. "But we're smarter!" So what? Sharks have the strongest nose. Does that mean that they can't be animals because they have attributes that other animals don't have? Besides, dolphins have been known to have a language. Dolphins are probably as smart as the average 9-year-old. The onyl reason why we see no dolphin cities is because... no thumbs. Plus, they may see no need to create cities.

To those of you who are horrified at the way animals are treated: I understand where you're coming from, but when you're sinking your teeth into some good KFC or something, I doubt that the first thing on your mind is "this was a living thing that was killed." I wholeheartedly agree that animals are treated horribly, but the problem is economy. If we made some big, fancy home for every animal that we eat, the price of that meat would go up. Not eating meat is not a good idea. First of all, it's a necessety to eat meat. Second of all, it's not going to stop the meat companies to stop.

    Christmas

As some have already said, Christmas is NOT the birth of jesus Christ, if he did exist. The Bible says that there were farm animals in the fields. It's cold in the winter, so the shephards did not put their animals out. If he was born, it was in the spring.

As for my feelings for Christmas, I celebrate it, despite being atheist. I see it as a holiday for families and friends to come together and forget all their worries and express their love and affection. It really gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling inside... or is that gas?

Anything else? The link you provided seems very biased, and unfortunately, I won't believe it without proof.

I'll post the link on a Wikipedia discusion article, to see what they think.

I know that many of those were hoaxes, such as the Piltdown Man. However, I'll need to see some evidence from somewhere like National Geographic to believe that Lucy is not a human ancestor. I would've heard about something like that.

If I had a penny for everytime I heard that question...

They are. Just in a different path. For our ancestors, intelligence was the way to go. For theirs, intelliegence wasn't as much of a problem.

I don't like the controls, but that's cuz I'm used to using the control pad for things. Demyx was tough, but using Wisdom form is easy.

Could it be possible for us to customize our controls in a later version?

Not bad for a fanmade game.

Emotions are a biproduct of social animals. Emotions allow them to work together. Usually, a social animal can't go solo, or it'd die. Humans are social animals. Without emotions, we'd have no need to work together. Therefore, we'd die.

To those who think "no emotions=no life," most animals have no emotions. Yet they live just fine. It's in the genetic code from evolution that allows life to be motivated to strive to survive.

Why the heck are Catholics and other sects of Christianity not supposed to believe in aliens? No offence, but it is kind of dumb.

    1. I'm not talking about cropcircles. Cropcircles are manmade.
    2. The government is in cahoot with aliens... loony...
    3. Hmmm... 4.
    4. One was saucer-shaped, one was a ball, and the others were triangles. Kinda creepy.
    5. Bridge City, Texas. There aren't many air force bases here, so I'm stumped as to what they were.

Perhaps. However, those that have them geniunely BELEIVE that what they see is real. Dreams usually don't do that to those who aren't mentally unstable.

Keep in mind; I don't think it's aliens probing people. Though I do admit that it's very strange and reqires further study. Basically my opinion on most parts of UFOlogy. Minus cropcircles and conspiracy theories. I have seen a few UFOs. I don't know if it's aliens or secret goverment aircraft, but I DO admit that there's something weird flying through our skies.

That, well... It all started with the Barny and Betty Hill incident. A couple claimed that they abducted by aliens while driving a long distance. They described them that way. After that, many other people claimed the same thing. A study has found that few of the "abductees" are mentally unstable. Many equate it to a condition called sleep paralysis, in which people will stay in REM mode and be awake and be paralyzed. However, those diagnosed with the desease say that it doesn't look the same as abductions. There are similarities, but not much. I'm not saying that they are true. I'm merely stating that they're odd occurences with currently no real explanation.

You do realize that the universe is infinitely large, and therefore has trillions of galaxies and even more planets, correct? There are currently over 200 known extrasolar planets. Most are very close and in this side of the galaxy. That'd be about 500 planets per galaxy, times 1,000,000,000,000 galaxies and that equates to... 5e+17 planets in the seeable universe alone... That's 5 with 17 0's behind it. The odds are in our favor.

I agree. The idea that aliens are some bigheaded skinny dudes that will probe you is ridiculous.
