Would it really make the goal of the idea pointless? The main goal is to motivate members to post more but adding a new tier mostly motivates the Premium members to post more and Premium members are very much the minority. If we want more activity then we should do something that motivates members with fewer posts to post more instead of motivating members with a lot of posts already. I have heard many normal members say that there's not much to being a Premium member nowadays and thus they don't really bother with posting much and take their time. If there was a revamp of the premium system and it was made more appealing then normal members would be motivated to post more since they feel there's more to gain. If a majority of people aren't motivated enough to make it to 1000, then what makes you think that anybody would be motivated to make it to 3,500 besides premium members who already have a lot of posts?

I don't drive even though I'm old enough to start taking the tests and everything now. I'm not in a rush to really learn at the moment. Unlike in the US where if you live in suburbia or a rural area and things are pretty far apart, I can usually get from place to place simply by walking, biking or if it's too far, there's always a bus I can catch so I don't really need to drive at the moment. Although when I do start taking a driver's ed course, I'm probably going to take classes to get a license for both a car and motorcycle. Driving a motorcycle is more common over here and with it being much cheaper to buy than a car and offering great fuel economy as well, it's perfect for a college student like me. Plus if I were ever to need a car, I could simply borrow my mom's until I gather enough money to buy my own. There's that risk that comes with driving a motorcycle though so there's one downside.
