For the intellectual side of "villainry," Roy Batty from Blade Runner. Roy wasn't evil, nor was he interested in power, he just wanted to live (he was a replicant, basically an android that looks human, but has a hardcoded 4 year lifespan) and took one of the greatest risks he could have taken in an effort to achieve such a simple goal. There's a reason his final speech is one of the most famous lines in movie history.
Because dust insulates it and lets it generate more heat.
Exactly my point. The red ring of death is caused by the system overheating and key parts expanding and warping to a form that doesn't work properly.
Moving the system while on won't cause it to over heat. It will most likely destroy any disc spinning inside of it, but that alone won't cause overheating.
Actually, the first Fire Emblem was for the Famicom (of which Shadow Dragon is a remake of). There were five Fire Emblem games released in Japan on Famicom and Super Famicom. Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals was the first one on GBA and was also Japan exclusive. Sword of Seals was Roy's game. I have a translation patch if anyone wants it, you just have to find the ROM yourself. The first Fire Emblem non-Japanese markets got was Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword (simply titled Fire Emblem outside of Japan), the seventh game in the series.
Personally, I don't care either way. I have a Ps3 and I have a 360, I'll get the version that's better reviewed.
Citation needed. Really, citation needed horribly. Microsoft doesn't buy all their multiplatform games. The majority of the time a game goes multiplatform because the developer realizes that limited themselves to one console is stupid. As for PS3 exclusivity in Japan, remember: The 360 sells like crap in Japan and they probably don't feel it is necessary to release both versions over there. Also, Sony has very little say in what console third parties choose to develop for. Well no **** sherlock. They're a business. Businesses do things to make money. Oh, hey, its the picture people were throwing around when MGS4 was rumored for 360 (which, by the way could quite possibly fit on four DVDs if you removed Metal Gear Online and compressed the audio, which isn't really a good thing, but that's beside the point). 20 dual layered DVDs would give you about 160 gigabytes of space, enough to fit over three dual layered blu-rays. Honestly, the only major differance anyone besides Sony fanboys see happening with FFXIII's 360 version is that it will be on three or four discs as opposed to one.
Or rather someone who looks into the facts before posting blind praise for one thing with blind hatred of another thing?
First, Gamefaqs was your first problem. Second, apples and oranges man. While they are both prog metal bands, Dream Theater's work shows more instrumentality and technical skill while Tool's is more experimental and has more metaphoric and interpretive lyrics. Its really not possible to truly compare the two.
At least you're listening. Really, the fee for XBL is minimal. If you take the US$50 a year and split it into 12 monthly payments it comes up to US$4.17 a month. Compared to the average pay to play MMO which generally cost US$13-US$15 a month for one game.
I thought I saw the last of that in 2006. XBL is actually superior than PSN for download speed, amount of available content and quality of multiplayer servers. For such a quality service, $50 a year is a steal. Also, anyone with any interest in playing online shouldn't be stupid enough to play on any wireless network. Even the fastest ones are still a fraction of the speed of a wired network. It is cheaper and better to buy a 20-50 foot ethernet cable and connect with a wired connection no matter what console you're using. Also, XBL Silver is free for those that want access to downloadable games and content, but don't care for online play. Wireless routers don't require you to use a wireless connection. Actually, the Arcade isn't as bad as people think. It comes with a memory card for game saves and can be upgraded into a Pro for by buying the 60 gigabyte harddrive which comes with everything the Pro comes with sans the XBox itself. The Arcade's main purpose is for those who can't afford everything right off the bat. It is about the same price as the Pro in the long run and it lets you pace your spending more than spending US$300-US$400 immediately. Take off the wireless router and 1 game and its US$460 at most. Or US$400 for the console alone and US$460 for it and a game. The Pro is US$360 for it and a game. As someone who owns both a 360 and a PS3, I have to say this: They are about equal in terms of quality. They both have their fair share of exclusives, their respective online services have their ups and downs and you get what you pay for in both consoles.
Now we're sorting by record companies? Well, damn, I believe I may be beat in pickyness. Also, Metallica and Jimi Hendrix are overrated, but Slipknot and Trivium aren't?
Now, I'll happily agree that Metallica (though not a classic rock band, neither are Megadeth, Pantera (who didn't even get their known sound until the 90s), Slayer, Anthrax, King Diamond or Iron Maiden) and AC/DC (also not classic rock) being overrated, but there's a reason why Jimi is one of the most influential guitarists to ever live. He accomplished in his 4 year career what many try and fail to do in their entire lives.
Not one mention of Metroid Prime 3 (or, better yet, wait for Metroid Prime Trilogy). I'm disappointed.
Seconding One Piece, adding Black Cat, just skip the anime version of Black Cat, it is a mediocre, shortened and *******ized adaptation.
I don't remember the New Moon trailer (like I would care even if I did), but I did get a new 9 trailer.
3 of them, actually, though one is probably dead. This is because Jolt was a last minute addition and they already had the final script ready. He was really only there because GM wanted to advertise the Volt. I'm hoping the next movie puts some spotlight on Jolt and Sideswipe (who had a grand total of 3 lines). And to the people that felt that Optimus was uncaring when Jazz died, Spoiler he didn't even mention Jetfire's death after the battle.
Why does it always have to be separately sorted just because its Japanese? There is no stylistic difference between western rock and Japanese rock, so it is pointless to sort them differently, after all, American rock isn't called A-rock, British rock isn't called B-rock and Finnish rock isn't called F-rock. The nonsense about J-rock is because weeaboo kids think that anything Japanese is inherently better than the western equivelent simply because its Japanese. For example: Compare the Japanese band Galneryus to a European band of the same genre (neo-classical metal), such as Stratovarius or Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. Notice, stylistically, Galneryus is highly similar to both Stratovarius and Yngwie Malmsteen, so why does it have to be sorted differently than other bands of the same genre simply for being Japanese?
Legend of Dragoon is a great game with a good story and a horrendous translation.
Yes, that is a prinny, dood.
