We headed south, where the surf came crashin' in. From black an white to color, from innocence to sin. It was summer in December, blowing heatwaves in my mind. People talkin' funny, some cruel and some were kind. From the crackle of the cane, to the frown of a big black snake. From the breakers at Bondi, down to Wallaga Lake. From the sound of a million fly screen doors, closing on the past, like that chimney the fires couldn't burn, I was built to last. When I flew across the ocean, I was number one. People gave me everything, an' I didn't need a gun. Walkin' down that avenue, I never felt so alive. People callin' out my name, an' I'd only just arrived. There was a tight rope walkin' bagpiper, in the middle of Central Park. Steam was risin' from the ground, an' I wore my cape out after dark. I had myself a moment, my day out in the sun. It's an unfinished story, but it's more than just begun.

Well, I have tried to be more positive about subjects like that. The only way I can salvage any happiness is to read classic literature like Shakespeare. But I don't like him much, so I read Murakami and Kant (Murakami because he's amazing, and Kant because I don't know what any of that **** means anyway). Having fun with the subject of reality is key. Not necessarily being cynical (though it isn't bad, just don't over do it), though. Plus, it isn't really about popularity. I wish people would stop thinking about philosophical and profound things without the concept of "being well known" lodged in their heads. Just thinking and reading about things for the sake of doing it is good, too.
I'm just messin'. but yeah that was one. I know I must've had another one, though. Maybe I just switched to so many different ones I'm making it up as I go.

Well in all honesty, I can see why they would have shot him. Those are clearly living babies (at the least can move and such). They should have been more clean about the solution, but I don't think I would have expected any decency out of the reaction, especially if it with people who take immense offense to abortions like this.
