    Hey Staff

I don't know. It depends on where you like it/don't like it.

Where do you like being whipped with an oversized leather belt that my mom bought me for Christmas? HMMMMM???

I almost thought it was another guy. Until the second box came around and the dude was talking about banging other chicks.

    - Critique of Pure Reason (Kant); incidentally but not surprisingly the hardest book I've ever read.
Philosophy has never been harder. o_o

    - The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (Murakami)
So explicit, but sooo addicting. In two days I've read 150 pages. Can't. Stop.

    - Reflections on Kurt G. (Hao Wang)
Very insightful look into Godel's life. <: I never liked Biographies but this one is alright.

    - Amerika (Kafka)
The only thing you need to know is that the main character left Germany for having a baby with his maid. /end

EDIT: Forgot some of the books I'm reading in World Lit.
    - Things Falling Apart, Doctor Faustus (already finished it, it's a play) and Antigone, which is also a play. :]

Anyone read any of Murakami's title's?

The Wind Up Bird Chronicle is my favorite, so far. I've read A Wild Sheep Chase twice, and am about 1/4 through The Wind Up Bird Chronicle. Fantastic piece of work... though very explicit.

I respect everyone I meet, even if they drive me crazy. Family, friends, random people on the street. I guess I don't care anymore who people are. I'll talk to anyone, really.

Just the other day, in fact, there was a guy sitting outside with a mug that said "5 cents" on it. I had a small talk with him about what he was doing. I was bored, sure, but I still have the decency.

The people I respect most are the ones I know, though, and am closest to. Such as my best friends, my dad, mom, brothers, etc.

I could never just respect in particular "the police" or "firemen" because those are occupations, not who that person really is. They might put soul into their job, and that gets respect and such, but take away their badges and water-hoses by force and watch them come back to those things because they care and that's worth respect. It really depends on the mind-set of the person.

I've seen it twice. It's a very moving play. My school's acting team performed it.

Afterwards, the entire school divided into sub-groups in the cafeteria and had school-wide discussion on it.

The one thing that got to me was the way people were commenting about the truely horrible act of school violence. All the people commenting were limiting their perspective and solutions to status-quo affiliated, psychologically dividing mechanisms. One of the students went on to say there were "jocks, preps, goths, etc etc" and said he didn't know how to solve his problem. The principle, the principle agreed and said 'it's a problem in uniting them.' My friend and I just sat there in aw as we didn't know how to interject ourselves into such a troubled discussion.

If I could speak and help for this, I would say forget your materialisms, and collaborate instead of fighting with each other for something. It's an act of consciousness that I think people subliminally dismiss for materialistic fact (the status quo).

flow and compo need a little work. Pen tool is fun if you can get it going well.

Work a little more on it. I suggest working on some shapes + stock cutting to get a good hang of it, then start doing paths and such slowly and subtly. Paths can be hard to get the hang of. A good example of what I mean is that path on left side of the stock. It's just kind of... there, y'know?

Still, good job for a first. Probably better than my first.
