Well, I'm sure you wouldn't necessarily like Meyer's books, but her writing in the Twi series is candidly addicting. Like one of those guilty pleasures, only you really do feel guilty.

Stephen King is a fantastic writer. His writing is so much better than Meyer's, and to the unexperienced reader can be quite a handful. I think that's why Meyer is so successful, as King said, because while her writing is not particularly good, it is so simple that people less experienced can really like it. It has a very psychologically satisfying speed to say the least, and King just goes through everything with a load of details and information, which is why King is so much different in terms of writing experience.

Both are good writers, but the gap in writing experience between the two is so huge I don't think it's so easy to judge.

But, nonetheless, King > Meyer. The Stand and Insomnia are both fantastic... oh and Cell.

lololol It's neither complex nor that religious. It's a bunch of silly games played by politicians.

    Source?

He wasn't judging anyone. Even if some of them weren't really atheist (which we've already established, thanks for reiterating), the point still stands ground.

So, for my lit analysis class, I read a book called The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. E. Griffin. It has a secondary title that says, "A second look at the Federal Reserve." So you can guess what it is about.

At any rate, I wrote a paper on the first half of the first chapter (it's not a particularly large book, but there is a ton of information), explaining how from past events and actions of the Federal Reserve, shows how it is really a cartel that doesn't really make public-interested opinions, but instead, private-interested decisions. In other words, how it is a consolidation of power.

    Feedback would be great. <3

I did read a few other smaller books, not only this one for this, but I only cited Griffin's book as my main source. I also took from other sources which I already knew. Thank Jebus I didn't need a bibliography. <:

    Thanks. :3

Why do you keep randomly coming back AFTER leaving for several months?

Key context: why you come back ever if you just end up leaving again?

Love you, Mari. <3 Hugs & kisses.

In reality many modern day "intellectuals" and free/critical-thinkers are, by definition, atheists. But that refers to the governments and worlds established and institutionalized definition and representation (which I think is very inaccurate). So these brilliant men had a belief, which atheism says they don't, but by established society says they do.

It's clearly quite the perplexing conundrum.

There's a severe problem between theists and atheists. The only real "battle" between them is when they are militant and completely 1-sided. Christians say they are intelligent and right, and Atheists say they are intelligent are right. So, who's right?

Through my personal study I've found that many scientists (some included in that list, but I don't think all of them) actually had a lot of difficulty thinking that the highly advanced organic composition of molecules, compounds and the like were just by accident (to some extent). Not to say they think it was God, but actually beings from another planet, solar system or galaxy all-together. There's many reasons, obviously.

I think for someone to be more comfortable, they would have to be open to both options. Seek for themselves the possibilities, the probabilities and what is determined throughout. For example, I, myself, think that everything is indeed 100% physical. But perhaps there's something more? Alternate dimensions, accessed differently through altered states of consciousness, maybe even dreams? I haven't looked into it very much, but right now that's how I stand I suppose.

Though don't rely on the list. We've already established that some of those people were indeed not atheist. lawl

Francis Crick (in the list of scientist atheists) actually wasn't atheist. He actually could not imagine the human being alive without a supernatural influence. The DNA molecule more specifically. And he took LSD to come to the conclusion of the DNA double helix.

The only sure fire way to solve that, since it's a personal problem, is to address it as such. Take a stand and force him into submission. =/ It might be hard, but take him by surprise if that's what it takes.
