Mostly true. But FR/LG had the Sevii Islands (which moved Moltres's location), and HG/SS added extra characters, smaller areas to tie in with later additions to the series, and re-tuned difficulty levels. And they could always show off some of the old features in their new incarnations, like the Acro Bike and Secret Bases.
Great, awesome. THANKS GUYS. I'm beginning to wonder if GameFreak's keeping some amazing secret about the remakes, or if they just haven't started work on them.
I'm also holding out hope for more hairstyle choices. No ponytail for boys makes me a sad Nova :c
Much as I like some of SE's forays into ARPG territory, it's a little worrying to see them pushing it so hard for the flagship series. To me Final Fantasy has always been about the evolution of the turn-based battle—from one-action-at-a-time to ATB to staggered actions, with experimental variations along the way but never something so deviant it can no longer be called turn-based. I like that style of combat. I don't want to see a new one, I want to see this one perfected. XIII was a decent effort combat-wise, marred by other design flaws, but the concept of real-time elements mixed in with the turn-based formula is not something I oppose at all; I just want to know that battles are still primarily about patience, thoughtfulness, and outfoxing your opponent, rather than muscle memory and twitch reactions. If XV is going to pretend that's the case the way KH does, then no, I won't be receptive to the change, because I already have KH for that.
Seconded, but how 'bout this time the male player character gets more than FOUR FRIGGIN' STYLE CHOICES. The ladies' shop is packed with cool stuff and the fellas got, what... one decent-looking outfit? Which is still so hipster it hurts.
ngl, it looks kind of... generic. I appreciate the effort but it is both not what I was expecting and nothing mind-blowing.
Good for him. c: If he can play the game he deserves a shot.
AH GOOD MULTI-QUOTE IS BACK. Now running future Mafia games won't be a nightmare.
!! /HEAVY BREATHING Really tho, these are all lovely u 3u In particular I'm eyeing the Rikus, the Xigbar, and that strapping fellow up above.
I think you mean Project Fuxord
AT LONG FUCKING LAST CELEBRATE W/ ME
FUCK Wolf was here and I missed it
Just so no one is sat there scratching their head, the game will not resume promptly after Night ends as usual; there will be a short break until Monday (probably 5 p.m. or later) before the next Day begins. I know, you'll be on pins and needles 'til then, but it's Mother's Day and the grandfolks are comin' over so I gotta take a raincheck. See you then, kiddos. Note, night owls, that this is NOT a deadline extension. I still expect your actions/votes in by noon on Sunday; any later than that, and they won't count. (And I expect the Mafia to hush up after that.)
Interesting tidbit here. Credit to @Laplace for the find. Whether you trust this likely depends on your history with Serebii, but I think it's reason enough to believe something we already kinda suspected.
Idk why my alerts didn't tell me about this but thank u fren
I've started thinking about this since reading Ashwin's story, Mandelbrot's Limit. I really liked it and thought it was better than either of the two stories I'd written at that time, but Ash thinks they're about even. I had first begun cutting down the length of my work after reading a friend's flash fiction and taking a short story class, but now I'm starting to edge back the other way. All things being equal—Your story is solid either way, it's descriptive, the imagery is vivid, et cetera—if you have the choice of including every detail that occurs to you or paring it down to just the necessities, which would you choose? If you go back and forth, which is your preferred mode? Do you find one easier than the other, or value one aesthetically above the other?
You don't need money that badly. You can't buy back the things this job is taking from you. It may not be the answer you want to hear, but I say you get the hell out of there and burn this guy. Don't stop hunting for a lawyer 'til you find someone who will take your case. If this place is only going to stay afloat as long as this bastard is there, it should've sunk long ago. He's the one who brought it down, not you. The people involved will move on. Your boss will move on. But it's not worth holding them all on your shoulders for the sake of pity. It won't help them or you.
Not entirely true. Uber tier tournaments are a thing. (You should see the people who bring NUs to them, it's nuts.) That said, Groudon and Kyogre are both staples of the meta and have been since their induction, it'd be interesting to see what became of them if they got Megas.
Saïx, Xigbar, Xemnas... What do they have in common? They were fought in The World that Never Was. Who else was there? Oh right, Luxord. Maybe that's because he made the cut. Anyway, Luxord's control over time may not be as strong as Young Xehanort's, but there's more to him than the powers he exhibits, and having another "time guy" really doesn't mean much.
Nnf, love 'em. Love 'em all. Your colors are stunning, my dear. Really strong set overall. I like that Vanitas, but I'd really like to see it with sharper colors. And the Frozen selfies are adorable u 3u
