I used to think like that, but then I realized I love taking gambles on certain moves. So I think it's more when the luck elements are out of your control. When you know your move has a certain chance to hit, and you have a more reliable move that's not as strong, that's actually ideal imo. Long as it's kept in moderation. But like, I have a friend who loves Poison and will use it in EVERY game that features it, even try to win fights with it—which means he's constantly rolling the dice. That's also the infuriating premise behind "instant" kills; if there were some way to control how likely they were to work on you, maybe they wouldn't be so bad, but nope either you nullify it or eventually it gets you.

Right, plus there's the fact that all the text inside them would be centered as well, which might not be as desireable in that case.

Assuming KHIII uses the same system as the previous numbered games, what kinds of spells do you want to see? Any returning favorites, or would you rather they be brand new?

I'd like to see new takes on the classic elements, old-school Magnet & Gravity, and maybe some true light & dark spells as well. It'd be kinda cool if more spells were used not just to attack or defend, but for added mobility or stat boosts or something like that. Maybe you could have an Aero spell that launched you super-high, or a Water spell that let you slide across the ground for several yards. Or a sort of "inner fire" spell that made you attack slightly faster.

So that's just a XenForo thing? That's kinda scary, hope there's a way to change it.

It'd also be nice if I could center tabs & tables but I won't hold my breath on that 'cause it seems like it'd be much harder.

As you can see (unless it's just me), the text inside each window is centered, but the window itself does not move. Is this adjustable? 'Cause this has been excruciating for certain uses where I wanted to align these windows with other forms of content.

These guys. These guys are livin' the life ok. They're like fratgeek fusion to the extreme. YOU KNOW THE DRILL, VID SAMPLES BELOW.

The trick shot videos always get me pumped up for some reason. I think it's 'cause they're all so excited about the stuff they pull off. The badass music doesn't hurt either.

Yeah that's where I picked it back up, haha. I've tried to get into the earlier seasons but it's a little too much standing around. I appreciate the slapstick of the later seasons.

Have you checked out their Let's Play channel? It's got a ton of content with Michael, Gav, and the rest of the AH crew.

Didn't see this before but yes, we do. Though I have NO IDEA who the admin's supposed to be or if they're even active these days. May be worth making another one.

Uhh wot. I thought this was more of a "gritty near-future realism" sorta thing. This seems kinda silly in light of that.

This'll be interesting, since the judicial system was a little different back then. Wonder if that will come into play in certain cases.

I think most people on a forum like this can agree, RPGs are pretty damn fun. But sometimes... well, sometimes they're just a pain in the ol' rear. It ain't easy to make all those bosses unique and difficult, and sometimes devs resort to frustrating measures. Bland tactics, stupidly high HP, a list of resistances as long as your arm... So what bugs you the most?

Me, I can't stand bosses who force you to play a certain way, either by nullifying most of your attacks or just being too fast, too tough, too powerful etc. for certain playstyles to stand a chance. That and I hate overuse of trial-and-error. If you ask me, RPG combat is about strategy, not luck; I should be able to reason out a boss's weakness before he kills me a dozen times, and have a reasonable chance of success once I understand how to win. So with those two combined SMT bosses are pretty much the worst for me :v /brick'd Well, not all of them, but it's pretty common for all bosses past the midway point to nullify Dark, Light, and all status effects, not to mention come packed with Dekunda and Dekaja.

I was wondering why your theme looked familiar :L

I remember seeing this a while back, looks neat but I've always loathed that visual perspective and everything about it. If any game is gonna breach that hatred though, I wouldn't put it past this one.
