What happened? And what's in that room...? Gas. Jenn shuddered and fell against the wall again, still amidst coughing fits. Toxic, probably. He felt dazed for a moment, before seeing Aeron drape the blanket over Ethan jogged his mind. He bent over Ethan and put his ear against the boy's chest. A faint ba-bump greeted him, and he breathed a sigh of relief. Not that toxic... He gave Ethan's cheek a few firm pats, hoping to wake him. Eyes still on the kid, he cocked his head to speak to Aeron. He was... reaching for something. I think he got shocked... If he went that far, it must've been important. Then, to the kid, Ethan. Ethan, hey! You in there, man?
Not with Marluxia. He kinda just steals bits from everyone else's themes all the time, like the similarities between Graceful Assassin and Another Side, Another Story. It really grates on my nerves when there's no synergy or common theme between tracks like that, but it's not like they sound bad.
Sir Kyroo, Chef Kyroo, and Lord Kyroo are my DOODS. I take those little guys with me everywhere. I also like Aura Lion, Ghostabocky, and Skelterwild.
Hmm... Maybe Master Xehanort's Nobody was No Heart. I know I know, that's supposed to be his Keyblade armor, and a data simulation at that, but I'm thinking maybe that's the form it took. Especially since it's chronologically the earliest occurrence of the Nobody emblem (and come on, it's in the name). Xehanort didn't lose his heart the way people ordinarily do, but a heart did vacate a body, so there's nothing to say a Nobody couldn't have been formed. If that's true and No Heart is his Nobody, it might be powerful but it probably wouldn't have higher brain functions the way the Organization does. Strong-willed hearts give way to sapient Nobodies, but that's probably because a fragment of that heart remains therein, as we learned in 3D. If Xehanort's heart completely vacated his body, there'd be no will whatsoever.
Good stuff. Framerate seemed a little choppy, but the shots were nice overall and covered a lot of ground. It's funny, I only just noticed the faint choir in this version of the theme...

But technical prowess is just as important in making great music as a keen mind or good ears. Speaking as someone who has the head for most things, but not the will to practice them over and over, it is a feat in itself and imo deserves praise and admiration. It's simple, but that doesn't mean it's easy. You have to be the type of person who can push through many, many screw-ups, and keep at it day after day even when you don't seem to see progress. Her work looks beautiful on Youtube, but I'm sure she spent countless hours trying to get those clean takes, or at least working up the skill to do so.
I dunno if this is common or not, but a lot of the music I listen to causes me to imagine scenes or static images in my head. They could be landscapes, or people, forces of nature or fictional worlds. I figured to share some of this imagery and invite others to do the same, maybe with the intent of inspiring creative works or finding common ground between people's imaginings (or just buffing people's post counts WINK WONK). So feel free to share a song and tell us what you imagine as you listen—or, if someone else has shared a song you like, feel free to chime in with your own imagery and see if anything matches up. Sample under the spoiler. Spoiler: ♪ Amon Tobin • Deo A melancholy track, which gets a little unnerving as it goes on. I picture a sky full of clouds, murky and gray, with scattered columns of colorless light pouring out from behind them... Beneath that a parched wasteland, flat and brown and marred with cracks. As the track shuffles on and more instruments join in, I see small creatures, lizards and rats and the like, emerge from the cracks and skitter across dead trees. The wind picks up, tossing sand and dust everywhere and forming a thin fog. The longer the track goes on, the more violent the wind gets, 'til it becomes a full-on storm—yet at the same time the clouds clear away, and the sun spills through more and more until the light is blinding. When the wind settles, the animals are gone but the cracks have healed, and grass begins to grow in their place.
Jenn stumbled back towards the door, Ethan slung over his shoulder like a wet rag. He laid the kid against the wall in the hallway, then threw the door shut and collapsed against it. His throat still burned, and he coughed again and wiped more tears from his eyes. Okay, he breathed, okay... After a moment's recuperation, he shoved himself upwards again and rounded the corner, shouting through the open door to the supply room. H-HEY! Somebody... bring some blankets! Someone's p-ugh-passed out over here...
I really wish they'd quit waffling about FF summons and just throw in Bahamut. I mean yeah, it doesn't match the mood of most of the game, but imagine whipping that out in End of the World, or World that Never Was. Definitely fits better than Bambi.
Ok, here's my question. If Frozen was a KH3 world... who would your party member be? My vote's for Anna, maybe with Olaf on backup or something—like Mulan and Mushu, but with ice!
3D had a nice one in Sora's speech to Xemnas, I'm kinda hoping for something like that. Failing that, yeah, probably something to do with the actual, physical Kingdom Hearts being entered and explored at some point, which I'm also crossing my fingers for.
In Terra's case I think he just wanted a strong body with a decent base of darkness to extend his lifespan. As for Sora, the way I understood it is that he was just a trophy to Xehanort. As far as Mickey counting them off, it seems to be assumed that Keyblade wielders make the best guardians of light. Especially since they're about to be potentially facing nigh-twice their number of dark Keyblade wielders, all hooked up to the same consciousness.

The game itself is important, but the Pokémon is hardly an icon. Then again I thought Lucario was a marketing push and he turned out to be one of the most interesting characters. All I care about these days is how they play.
I dunno... I was kinda wondering if we'd get a Mewtwo with Mega-Evo. Seems like it'd be more appropriate.
Like he said, Princess ♥ will be replacing basilissa. Again, new deadline is Tuesday at 7 P.M.
BAD
mfw people keep including me in their life drama and I fuckin' revel in drama
Gray Fullbuster might be the best character ever created. He's like a recovering ecstasy junkie. The way he just starts losing articles of clothing offscreen during totally serious moments, Jesus. Jesus. There should be a character like him in every show.
