I'm pretty sure his point was not to diss people for goofing off

but rather to criticize people like, for instance, the ones who chased you out of the megachat

You did notice the part where he was explicitly referring to trolling, right?

The only one that actually calls anything a Limit is II, so I assumed we were roping the other games in as well, for comparison.

KH1? No, not really. And they got stunned pretty frequently. Maleficent 1st-form could be stunned about five times per battle, off the top of my head.

Normal. There was definitely a damage boost to the styles, it may not have been much but it stacked over a couple hits. And since most styles could hit ten times for Sora's one...

I must not have played the same game as half the posters in here. I found Sora's links woefully ineffective, while I used and abused Riku's right up to the last couple boss fights. Sora's links take too long to deal damage; no matter how big it is, I can usually outpace it with Riku's link styles in the same time frame. Sora's OP light attacks are way better for massive single-hit damage, especially since one of them heals.

Don't forget about enemy cards, you should have some by now. They provide passive effects that can really help out in a tight spot. You add them to the deck like normal cards, but they have a separate menu. Not sure how you switch to it in Re:CoM but there's a button in battle that flips over to your enemy card selection, from there you just activate them like normal cards.

So... maybe pick your attacks better? You know you'll be vulnerable, how 'bout wait 'til the boss is stunned before you try anything sly. Better that than KHII's Limits, which effectively allow you to spend an entire boss fight invincible.

As far as Strike Raid, sad but true. Nice to see they nerfed the damage in 1.5, but it's still pretty ferocious. 'Course they also nerfed MP Gift so you don't have as much spammable MP as before.

Man I put a lot of effort into making a convincing post on the subject and then everyone ignored it sdkjfhsdgkjdhks

"Their" desire wasn't to build an army of Nobodies. The members were acting autonomously. In truth, the Organization is not very organized; each member had their own goals and ideas of what the group meant to them, and taken as a whole it appears exactly what it is: chaotic. Self-defeating. The wandering of lost souls, a herd of cats trying to accomplish a single goal that not all of them even signed up for.

They probably had Roxas and Xion fight because the two were getting to be too much to handle. They never intended for the two of them to figure out what was going on, which is what really made their plan seem stupid - because if they were hard to control at the time, how hard would it be when they found out their bosses wanted one of them dead? As for making Nobodies... Wasn't Xaldin the only one actively engaged in that goal? And he seemed to be after it more out of morbid curiosity than anything else. The others just gathered Nobodies where they appeared. More cannon fodder to put between them and Sora in the likely event that he got wise to their plans and decided to come for them instead of faff about with Heartless all day.

I don't think it's that they think they're in the right. Most of them don't seem to care. Why should they? They don't have hearts, so says the Superior. Half of the group is actively, remorselessly malicious, and the other half has no incentive to give a sht thanks to the manipulations of the former group. I don't see the moral ambiguity here.

Basically this. They damned entire worlds to satisfy their own selfish desires, and flimsy desires at that; when you get down to it, a good portion of the group seemed just peachy not having hearts, and they certainly weren't loathe to steal hearts from others, or arrange for them to be lost. Their goal was, for the most part, a lie; and even those among them with the best of intentions were still ruthless, cruel, and near-genocidal in pursuit of their goal.

Look, we all know Nomura's not the most gifted writer, but this is the magick of art, especially video games: The observer is an artist as well. Through interpretation we can make the art less sucky. Point is saying it's bad writing is a cop-out when there are other possible explanations. And in general it's kind of rude to the artist :x

I... don't think that's how it works? We've been led to believe since KH3D that , which implies that Roxas and Ventus are now as separate and distinct as Donald and Goofy.

Same for this. I have a feeling part of the plot will be finding a way to restore all these lost souls, since (again in 3D) when . I'd be shocked if we don't see them in some form.

All in all the guardians' side looks kind of crowded, so I think there is still some mystery left with regards to which members of the group will make the cut. Or who knows, maybe Sora will be a revolving door of Keyblade wielders, changing form to suit the opponent he faces. With seven against thirteen, it's a safe bet they'll be tag-teamed more than once.

    Found a contradiction.

Anyway, why are you rating it? It's WAY too early for that in every respect. That's like rating KHIII based on the Disney rides trailer.
