I assume you have Disgaea 1 and 2 but if not then why don't you

Yggdra Union and Knights in the Nightmare. You need them. NOW.

Also Janne D'Arc has gotten really good reviews. Couldn't get into it myself but that's not to say it's not good.

Granted, if the story is all you're concerned about, Continuum Shift Extend contains a pretty succinct summary of the story thus far, plus some extra goodies that are definitely worth it: namely, story modes for all the new+DLC characters (free with the game btw), which bring to light some interesting factoids about the plot unknown until now.

You wanted them to be less mature about it? That's... disturbing.

I worry more for what goes unsaid in public. And if the aim is to promote unity, I imagine there are better methods.

    I mean

the internet kills jokes as swiftly as they're born

and before that we had TV and radio and plain old word of mouth

Sites like those may accelerate the entropy but they also open the door for more jokes to be made

You just gotta work the flo' kna mean?

I get why though. It's like they said; putting in more characters isn't adding to the workload, it's multiplying it. Every character has to be re-rendered from scratch, and the more swollen the list gets, the harder the job becomes.

That said, there are a lot of clones and one-off characters that will probably get the axe first. It's basically confirmed that Ike, Toon Link, and Lucario aren't returning, likely to be replaced by Chrom, some other super-deformed Link variant, and... Mmewwtwoooo? Maybeeee...? Please god in heavennnn...?

When I know I want something, and it has a preorder bonus that interests me - or I'm too lazy to wait for a game to be shipped - I buy at GameStop. These incidents are rare and comprise roughly 10% of my purchases. The rest are through eBay or Steam. Except for a small percentage which I buy online directly from the developer; though I do try to take that option whenever I find someone self-published.

You want me to go on? The other reason is because most people use topics like these to air out their grievances towards groups, trends, individuals, etc. that they dislike, which has already been done a number of times as far as I can see. It's a toxic atmosphere that should be purified before ever leaving the body, not expelled like pollution from a plant.

You might've seen my post as an attack, but I'd say it falls under the umbrella of the title subject. If you don't care for it, I'd invite you to reflect on how your "unpopular opinions" make others feel.

    I mean yeah but

being extraordinarily powerful and having a bulkier mythos aren't exactly quantifiably superior traits

I think it's still a matter of taste, as the more organic and biological backgrounds, cutesy figures, and down-to-earth abilities of standard Pokémon can easily be more appealing to certain personality types

It's testament to this that most people's favorites are starters, mascots, and the like

That and legendaries can be really interesting combat-wise if you give them the chance, the Uber tier is really cool to me with the radically different focus on attack and defense types and such

Haha, which is funny because, mostly people just don't use his luck-based moves :'D But I getchu. It's fun to throw 'em out now and then, and landing a 9 for the kill might be one of the most sublime experiences there is.

Speaking of which, I hope he's back. Doesn't seem like he'd be first out the door, but you never can tell.

I have a nebulous cloud of rapidly shifting favorites which can mostly be summed up by I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THE FIRST THREE GENS OK

Ninetales Tentacruel Nidoking Gengar Arcanine Hypno Dragonite Granbull Scizor Forretress Tyranitar Espeon Heracross (2nd gen bugs are best bugs) Typhlosion Feraligatr Sceptile Exploud Banette Zangoose Kecleon (3rd gen normals are best normals) Absol Slaking Altaria...

I mean I love all gens equally and they have all made meaningful contributions to the game but

    the first three gens

were just so good for the actual Pokémon themselves

Although I really couldn't appreciate many of them if it weren't for the later gens, which fleshed out their move pools, gave them new abilities, and generally made them more fun to use. Good example: Dragonite. In 1st gen games it's fun for the novelty, but you'll get tired of it quick. All it can do is learn really powerful moves that other Pokémon can use better. In fact Lance might be the free-est of the Elite Four, considering half his team is weak to ice, and you get Blizzard a couple areas back. All he can do is throw elements at you, and even then if you're faster he doesn't even get the chance. gg come back when dragons are a thing that is good.

No kiddin'. How is it these days? I haven't been in ages.

    Hey, if it's a good design, it's a good design. Suicune's cool.

All I know is, I don't mind either one, and I'm gonna try them at least once. I always loved Game & Watch and R.O.B.'s styles, so I wouldn't count out these newbies either.

They had to confirm him, he's the uncontested king of the Japanese tier list

Would've been perfect if the Mega Man promo was included.

I'm really glad the lack thereof was significant enough to warrant a design tweak.
