Seeing as Capcom has mistreated enough former employees and gaming pioneers to fill an entire studio? Yeah, they're actually kinda dicks haha.

3 is all right but I think 4 is the best as far as presentation. Less choppy dialogue, more fluid gestures - the little touches that bump up the immersion. DMC4 Dante is easily my favorite as well, and it instantly became the default Dante persona, and the one everyone sees when they think of him whether they admit it or not: the wise-crackin', straight-shootin', pizza-lovin' halfbreed with fly-ass chaps and a modest stubble, who doesn't so much fight demons as turn them into his personal whitefaces for an invisible, yet no doubt captive audience, dazzling with flawless style and enough verbal savvy to out-talk the chattiest of monologuing villains.

Donte just isn't that kind of character, and only resembles the original due to fan outcry. He's not as self-aware, he's not as refined, he's not as dramatic, and he bull-rushes his way through baddies instead of dancing on their heads. Even when he mouths off, it's really aggressive and crude. Not to say he has to be anything like his predecessor, but... well, why throw out the old one to begin with? Why's he taking that name when he could strike out on his own?

In any event, Ninja Theory shouldn't be held accountable; Capcom approached them with this idea. Capcom are the ones who wanted to change Dante's image - heedless of his fans' stance on the matter, no doubt. In fact, they've been rather unkind to the brand since its earliest days, when they were just about finished developing Devil May Cry 2 before anyone bothered to tell Hideki Kamiya (the creator of the series) that it even fucking existed.

I would have, he's dressed like a fucking nazi

That said, one of the most organic bits of dialogue was the exchange between Dante and Vergil before the final fight

the way Vergil is totally calm and kind of incredulous when Dante goes "The fuck did you just say"

Like that's the kind of stuff that says "Film quality" to me, if that's what they're aiming for then mor dis plz

Honestly, I like DMC3 myself, but I couldn't recommend it as highly as 4. It just doesn't age as well imo. Especially for people who aren't into the absurd skill ceiling and difficulty curve the series is known for; 4 is both a critical spike in the amount of crazy shit you can do in these games, and not as punishingly difficult as previous entries - while still not being as piss-easy as DmC.

Honestly like the game itself really doesn't bother me that much

The dialogue teeters between organic grit and dumb niggas cussing but it definitely has its moments from what I've seen

Gameplay could use some tweaking but fuck how many great series got off on the wrong foot (cough System Shock)

I'm just sad that it couldn't be an original property instead of osmosing a work that I love and prefer as it was

It ditches the theatrical demon slayer camp for UP THE PUNX DAILY camp and I wish I didn't have to choose between the two - or, more accurately, that the choice wasn't made for me

    WHAT I SAY.

Little wary about SAO, but I honestly don't know anything about it, except that it sounds like new-age dotHACK with a lot less mindf#%k. Which, the mindf&@k is what made dotHACK cool, so Idk. But I guess we'll see.

    UHH... REALLY SCARED RIGHT NOW...

Like I'd honestly rather a no-name buy them out than have a console, triple-A, or western company take control. Too much potential for dangerous influence.

That would be a clever zinger, if this wasn't a really weird and frankly inefficient means of venting

...Actually it probably wouldn't be that clever either way

Cute joke but it doesn't excuse the blatant ignorance of your statement

Lust, fundamentally, is an excess of attraction to a person, place, item, or idea, such that reactions to and behavior around become unhealthy or immoral - while in common usage it refers to intense physical attraction to and desire to mate with another person

Neither of these are at all synonymous with romantic love, much less love in general

Also? Lust as either of those definitions isn't meaningless, nor is love some lofty, enlightened state of mind by comparison

Sex is pleasurable, and practiced responsibly it is a perfectly normal and fun aspect of a well-adjusted person's life

Lust can be healthy and love can be fucked up, trust me, I've seen it in abundance and lived my fair share

I know you're either trying to be poetic or just screwing around but

    just

    pick your words carefully

and mind those old clichés, they tend not to hold under scrutiny
