    Suddenly I understand[DOUBLEPOST=1369262119][/DOUBLEPOST]
Damn sight better than where I live, I'll tell you that. At least shit happens in Orlando. What I wouldn't give to live in a big city...

I mean... he is in harm's way. He escapes it. Because he's a trained officer. That comparison also further serves to make Stark look weak and vulnerable, especially in the finale when it's shown he is complete garbage with a gun.

I think people are just desensitized and towards revenge plots because of how completely they saturate the market. It doesn't matter who or how many people die on your watch, it still hurts. Especially when they're close. It's just bias because Happy's not Coulson.

There are plenty of opportunities left in the Marvel film universe for the incorporation of mysticism. Just because they took a different path doesn't mean they took a worse one. Once again, are you sure it's not just bias? I didn't know anything about the Mandarin before watching the film, and I loved that particular twist. Most creative thing they could've done under the circumstances, if you ask me.

Not to mention, it's in keeping with the Iron Man series having a generous share of light-hearted moments, even amidst great tragedy. They'd have to throw that out if the Mandarin turned out to be a psychotic super-wizard challenging Stark to an honor duel. Not worth it in the slightest, even in exchange for the science vs. magic shtick.

...I-I... What?! No! That's terrible! That entire thing is terrible. He kills off a character out of personal dislike, suggests the only superhero movie plot with a modicum of uniqueness in the last decade instead be boiled down to the hero and villain having an extended slugfest with barely any justification, constantly tries to make it a Hulk crossover with the reasoning that he has a boner for science talk, forces the mystic mumbo-jumbo angle because hey, this movie's already down the shitter, but maybe we can get a Doctor Strange film! He has the nerve to mock the ending despite it being one of the only films in recent memory where a spouse joins in the fight instead of cowering on the sidelines, he basically suggests that the entire PTSD arc, one of the very best bits of the film and the most humanizing element a superhero has ever had in history, be scrapped...

I don't think I've ever been so irrationally furious. I mean, I like to think I can always see where somebody's coming from, but this guy is just... a fucking manchild! An immature, disrespectful pinhead! No respect, that's what it boils down to. He just wants to gut the film and salvage the parts he deems acceptable. Which equates to turning it into a two-and-a-half-hour action wank, hold the visceral human emotions, with a side of pointless continuity nod. I am seven shades of overjoyed that this dumb bastard doesn't work for Marvel, or they'd be out of the film business for damn sure.

Ugh, makes me sick to read... Guaranteed I'm not touching his actual review of the film.

For people who are not blindly in love with the first two generations and oblivious to their myriad issues, the answer is obvious: The series has only improved with age. Because Pokémon feels no need to change - only to tighten a formula that was successful to begin with, until it excels in every single aspect. New games introduce exotic locales, create unique new Pokémon, add a wider spread of attack types and combinations, genuinely and earnestly correct problems from previous generations... and though Pokémon is definitely still a kids' game, the latest entries have come the closest to an intriguing plot in series history. It is one of the only series from my childhood that I can say, without a doubt, is exactly the same but better, and that should be a point of pride for the developers considering how many gaming giants they've seen rise and fall over the years.

If you ask me which generation I prefer, I will say gen III for aesthetics, II for characters, and IV for mechanics and difficulty; but if you ask me which game I think is the best overall, I'll always say the newest one. That has yet to change and I doubt it will for a long time coming.

Ok look here's the thing I'm literally always hype for Joss Whedon like I can't turn it off

and the fact that there are like no superheroes from previous movies in the trailer only makes me more hype

but here's the real question: Is Stan Lee gonna make a cameo in every episode? or is he just gonna cop out and show up late in the pilot
