To answer your question directly: The narration and the command are tied together, so yes, you will often find yourself describing your command. But it doesn't have to be just that. Hopefully it'll be clear from the samples once I write them up.

Hehey, look what's outdated again. Yep, it's one of my update posts! Let's fix that. For those who don't know (which I think is no one but eh :v), Jojo is still with us! Apologies to Saxima, although stay tuned because the next game not run by me may have openings. Planning is progressing smoothly and we should be ready to roll within the week. Get hype mofos :L Please keep an eye out for new information to be posted to the OOC, much of it will be required reading! I probably won't post again until the IC is up and ready, so you'll have to keep tabs on things independently in the meantime. EDIT: First change added. Rules are now up! Please read them, and if you can, post to confirm you've read them. If anyone has questions or rules I should probably add, please, please let me know. Rules are the thing I'm most likely to screw up and least ok with screwing up. Also, would anyone benefit from me writing up sample posts to demonstrate the basics? Maybe some combat samples?
Ok, that was predominately joking. Usually parodying myself. I try not to bring it up all the time, but usually that ends up with one or two people setting me off each time and then they think they're being singled out. I guess I need to find a better way to handle that. If that really seems like the rule of thumb to you, you just don't pay attention.

Certain things just annoy me, I can't help that. All that video sharing frustrated my efforts to socialize with friends, and it made me ornery. If you could physically do the equivalent of video spamming to people offline, I doubt you'd be surprised if they took a caustic attitude towards you. That said, I did fly off the handle a bit too much, and I regret it. What I don't appreciate is the assumption that it's just in my nature to be rude to people. You earned it, at least in part. Far as I can tell, though, your opinion of me only soured after the fact. Sounds unfair to me.
See, that is an insult. That is what I'm trying to avoid. I haven't spoken a word of insult in this thread. My previous comments, while blunt, are not attacks on any person or their character. At the worst, they are assessments in the negative. I consider it quite nice to treat someone with such objectivity who repeatedly and unashamedly displays grievous social obliviousness and also takes part in insulting those who disagree with him. tl;dr I understand the phrase well, but I would mirror your statement.

1. A one-person joke is not a meme, it's a shtick. Learn the difference. 2. You didn't invent it. Three-year-olds have been saying that for centuries. 3. It has to be snappy and clever to have any meaningful impact. It is neither of those.
Something... bothers me about the new setting. I feel like it's about to forfeit a lot of the exoticism that made the series so appealing. The last half of the episode actually made me think of a superhero movie. And with areas outside of Republic City still looking A:TLA-era, I'm getting mood whiplash to boot. Much as that's bringing me down, it's pretty much all I can say in the negative. Characterization is stellar; in fact, I think it might be better than the original series. Korra's pretty damn lovable right off. Animation is a knock-out, of course. If only the setting wasn't such a glaring issue for me, maybe I'd be less pensive about the show's future... Oh well, it's definitely worth a watch.
