When I first played through the games, I went straight up sword fighting, but to give myself a challenge as I went through them again, I focused heavily on Magic. Since I've only played through KH2 once though, what I did was once I got to a high enough level, I realized just how good the magic in that game is...especially since you can continue to combo out of it!

Kairi scooted out of the booth. Once out, she latched onto Demyx's arm, and followed him out of the building.
"A walk in the park sounds lovely." Kairi said smiling. "I haven't been there in ages."
"Well, I think the owner may get mad at us if we just sit here and kiss all day." Kairi said giggling "ThoughI wouldn't mind she added in a whisper." "So what do you want to do?"
"Don't worry about it silly. They had to find out at some point." Kairi said, kissing Demyx again. "Little sooner than I wanted, but it's not gonna change anything."
