That's a lot of gay Oh, I must have forgotten this isn't a public forum where anybody can see what we write Wouldn't you get rope burns or something, too? It just seems annoying
It scares me
Well I mean, I'm not defensive about the joke, if that's what you think, it's just that I don't particularly enjoy repetition. Nothing was really ADDED to the joke here, so it's just kinda valueless
Multiple different topics though. This is like if a bunch of people had a laugh about someone calling one of them gay, and then hours later some guy got up on a soap box and was like HA, HE's GAY! Like, the moment has passed, if you're gonna be late, at least add a twist to it Not into bondage
I dunno, why is a novaboner worth multiple topics?
I tried doing that once t took a really long time
You think boners are cute? lol gay
Apparently a tonne of people liked this game, and I can't figure out why
You mean this isn't like in porn?
We already had a topic about this, it doesn't exactly have the same bite when we literally discussed this like 2 days ago
i'm incredibly manipulative, to the point where I do it without realizing, fairly recently I started noticing this and tred to make a change, which has led to me having a bit of a tic where I can be incredibly honest for no good reason (ie telling the truth in a situation where it doesn't benefit anybody but hurts me in some way) Still really manipulative though
Something occurred to me while reading that topic over in the Days section. Days makes it so that everything Roxas ultimately does is tied to her, but at the end of the game Roxas loses his memories of her. This means that Roxas (AND everyone else in the Organization) would have HUGE portions of their memories COMPLETELY rewritten. That one time they had a meeting SPECIFICALLY to discuss Xion? What happened on that day now? But yeah, ultimately a lot of Roxas' negative feelings towards the Organization, and questioning his own existence and his having the keyblade all stem from Xion... so what's his reasoning now, without his memories? Why did he clash with Saix all the time? Why is he wondering about the keyblade? Why did he fight Axel? Why didn't he trust Axel? So many things are intricately tied to memories of Xion, so much so that a COMPLETELY new memory would probably be needed... So what were those memories? Where did all those many days, months even, that these people dedicated to Xion go? For that matter, if Xemnas lost his memories of Xion, he wouldn't know the project was a failure, wouldn't he try doing it again?
[quote="Ars Nova, post: 4174815, member: 61191" Except here's the thing: A lot of people and belief systems hold that our world works the same way. Yes, darkness represents wholly destructive force and negative energy. And they still maintain it as necessary and healthy. You're arguing from a standpoint that once we label something as dark, it must be destroyed; that's not the case. That's what the characters think, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the goal of the overarching narrative. People need to stop treating characters as reliable narrators; they can be wrong about their world. They can be short-sighted. They make mistakes, frequently.[/quote] I just want to add that this is especially true in KH. Despite it seeming like it would be, the world of KH isn't one where every prophecy and rumour turns out to be true. Just look at the main antagonist. Xehanort's MANY plans were all based on ultimately incorrect assumptions. Being just plain wrong is actually a pretty common occurrence in KH, now that I think about it
Roxas' dual wielding IS attributed to Ventus, Xion just basically stole the power and Roxas got it back when she died. Justifying the tropes isn't really what's important here. Nobody in the actual KHverse thinks Xion is a Mary Sue, the issue exists OUTSIDE the lore. You can write all the excuses and reasoning for her being the way she is, but it ultimately feels like the kind of character a fanfic writer would create if they wanted to have a self insert who turned out to be the reason why Roxas did everything he did. And She CAN'T be the reason he did everything he did, because he forgot her. How could he have a grudge against the Organization Sora when he has long since forgotten her?
I meant to post this a couple weeks back, but the point stands. I was at the grocery store a while back, and I was listening to the local radio, they were talking about playing the hit new song "Let It Go" for the first time People were sick of that like five months ago But hey, at least they eventually caught up
Goes around claiming they're the king of some place or other, but what do they have to show for it? I bet Nova gets defeated by a pink puffball on a regular basis, as well
I've heard of people feeling like they should have different physical characteristics, including genitals, though. Sort of like phantom pain, but it's a phantom penis
Honestly? I'd believe it
;)
