But 9 wasn't turn based. The turn based ones were slow because that's how they worked, ATB was specifically introduced to speed up combat
Old Final Fantasy was FAST though. If there's one thing I can say is bad about 9 it's that everyone takes their time with EVERY action you take in battle. Slowed things own WAAAAY too much
None of the main cast are mammals
I wonder if this wasn't as much if a problem because I played it on my PSP? Disk versions tend to have longer loading times
When? The battle transitions were a bit slow, but that's all I can think of
Pretty much all of it
FFVI is basically FFVII
So Lightning is characterized as a cynic, a realist, etc. In the first game, she calls the L'cie stuff magic and mumbo jumbo, and that made snese, becuase in the world of FF13 magic wasn't a common thing, it was mostly technology. Come the sequels they STILL try to keep this as part of her personality and it seems SO WEIRD Here's an example, I'm doing a side quest in Lightning Returns, a girl claims she used to be a Chocobo but was transformed into a human. Both Hope and Lightning don't believe such a thing is possible. In a world where time doesn't exist that will end in 13 days where Lightnign has the ability to slow down time, or change clothes at will instantaneously. In the previosu game she send her sister a Moogle THROUGH TIME that can transform into different weapons But no, a Chocobo transforming into a human, that's just too ludicrous
The problem is unless all reps are monitored they could just say "Lol no" and be done with it[DOUBLEPOST=1398559688][/DOUBLEPOST] Can't see anything ever being changed, no
So I was having an argument with someone, and rather than make an counterargument they just neg repped my posts. I hate this about rep systems, it encourages a person to not actually explain themselves or give a reason. Positive reps are handy, you can show you agree with someone without wasting a post when you have nothing to add. But with a neg rep and person can just bump down something they don't like and... that's it, and they can feel like they won, because you can't even reply to it
We don't knwo the story at all, it coudl easily fit I'd love to see a fight, maybe in Castle Oblivion or something, where Sora phases into Roxas, Xion or Ven, sort of like the flashback fights in Days
Hey FF12 is not schlock
the DMW falls apaaaaarrt
That's really a major issue, rather than actually works towards the good of the people, it's all trying to do the opposite of what the other side does, to an extreme fault[DOUBLEPOST=1398547309][/DOUBLEPOST] Crisis Core is equally important
Zack is so likable and him and Aerith have good chemistry and the ending is so sad and aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
Crisis Core is so sad :(
It's a similar concept, definitely, I used Sonic Battle as an example because it's a lot more in depth. You choose combos, healing moves, running style, double jump and so on. D Links are a lt like what I wanted, just more extreme. Most of the moves with D Links were at best renamed versions of existing commands, seeing Sora use actual moves belonging to a character just seems more interesting to me
I see people endless complain about Obama not following through on all his promises, and this is something that happens every time a leader comes around, to the point where it's a stereotype is most cultures I can think of off he top of my head. But I never got why people were so quick to go the thanks Obama route. If Obama could enact and follow through on all his promises and wishes on a whim, you'd be living in a dictatorship, or a kingdom. The President doesn't rule with absolute power, in fact, they tend to have a lot less power than a lot of people seem to believe. I do have a theory that people would be a lot happier with a benevolent dictator than pretty much any other kind of ruler, honestly But yeah, things being clunky, awkward, inefficient, slow moving and the general lack of fulfilled promises is the
There's always an opposite reaction to anything positive that exists for a long enough time. If you want an easy place to find an example of this, just look at Reddit, where even the most benign post can have 13,000 neg votes because it's on the front page. Or the Xbox One. Everybody knew it was a terrible idea, but once they removed it you got an explosion of people saying people were jsut afraid of the future/change/new ideas etc. It's the nature of humanity to hate anything that sparkles for too long
It's kinda like FF8, where you're going to have a rough time without SOME of the obscure stuff
