Dissidia is like a collection of all the worst cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts, with a few of the decent ones thrown in (mostly in 012) FFVI may not be a the prime example of writing in a video game, but you don't get anything as stupid as TURNING DARKNESS... INTO HALLOWED LIGHT! Is Terra a little under-characterized in FF6? I guess, somewhat, but that's no excuse for Dissidia to fly in the face of what characterization she DOES have. Also Cloud didn't get the short end of the stick, they just used his Advent Children characterization when they should have at LEAST used his Crisis Core version. But everybody loves the Advent Children version for some reason
It's not emant to be though. When you use it it's weak, you can't fight enemies properly with it. It'd make sense for it to be enhanced for proper combat They uh Show off some ankle? I guess? If this was the 1920s this would be scandalous!
Well in this case Zero Suit Samus doesn't actually emerge from her armour like in Brawl, so it stands to reason this is a more combat ready version of the suit
Terra was kinda broken with her Tornado spam, but in terms of characterization she was utterly destroyed in Dissidia. Every character in Dissidia is exaggerated, besides the NES ones which had nothing to exaggerate. But they picked a bunch of the weakest traits for her. While she was wracked with doubt in FF6, she's utterly helpless in Dissidia. She was taken to some extreme level of timidness. This was so notable that is spawned this parody This becomes even more notable because Terra is the only woman on Cosmos' side until we get Lightning and Tifa from the previous cycle, it makes it all the more jarring when she is the only one plagued by inaction and doubt throughout nearly every scene she's in. I don't remember a moment where Terra was so scared that shejust sort of sat around and did nothing and let other people fight for her, do you? The moments you mention are strong because of the other characters. She's foil to them. Kefka unleashed a tonne of crazy magic attacks and then... Terra teleports away. She hides, adn he finds her, so she decides to fight him. Her interaction with Vaan ultimately existed to serve Vaan as a character, not her, and is ultimately a retread of Onion Knight, where the theme is ultimately "Terra needs time to actually work up the will to do something, so these other guys go and protect her until then" Of all the characters in Dissida, Terra easily got the shortest end of the stick. Even her equipment takes a hit. She used to be able to use swords and stuff, but at least I can udnerstadn that, since it adds some much needed variety to the Cosmos characters, who are nearly all sword wielders

There's definitely a sort of internal logic to the recolours. Soldiers look more like camo, Guard Armour looks more like a toy, and for the most part they blend with their environments more. Some are completely gratuitous, like giving the Stealth Sneak a different pattern And I just think Phantom looks way cooler now

I'm working on a review for Bravely Default, but the issue I've run into is that a TONNE of the game's issues are tied intricately to spoilers How do you prefer your spoilers being presented? I'm toying between doing a two part review, or one big one with the spoilers as a section. What do you guys prefer? I know for a lot of people really long videos is an issue. I don't have a complete script yet, so I don't know how long it'll be, but I'd imagine it'd either be 10-20 minutes per part as a 2 parter, or 30-60 minutes as a whole. I imagine having a separate video clearly marked with spoilers might be something some people like, too, but I also know some people like it better when everything is just said in one video. So yeah, got a dilemma, help would be nice
