Gets pretty intense later on. By chapter three it's pretty common for bosses to have attacks that will KO a party member even if they're insanely over leveled (one boss in chapter 3 has an attack that it guaranteed to deal 9999 damage once you take off 1/6 of his health)
It doesn't take long to get more than enough from the random generator. The effect each village has diminishes drastically for each consecutive one. On another note, once you get the Salve Maker job Norende village... kinda breaks the game

Well then it's a pretty big plot hole because Nobodies DO have hearts, or at least, they can grow new ones Roxas is still a bit of an exception though, since he has a bit of a heart in him to start
You say this like Nobodies don't have hearts. Beyond that, Roxas is clearly a pretty special exception to typical Nobody rules -Showing genuine emotions could just be an indicator of him being the first to grow a replacement. -Sora WASN'T fully restored by Kairi. That's the whole point of Roxas rejoining. Sora in KH1 is basically still just a heart, I'd assume this works on the same principle as Ansem SoD, who was also just a heart, but was able to take a form using external power. -This could have more to do with memories or something, we've already seen the Heartless and Nobody appearances are nebulous. His heartless looks like Xehanort, while his Nobody looks like a mix of Xheanort and Terra. -How did Sora become a heartless despite having a heart? A heartless IS a heart :P There are no rules that cover recovery from being a heartless, but that's because it's supposed to be impossible. A person is supposed to recover from being a heartless by having their Nobody and Heartless destroyed. Sora is the only exception to the rule, and PoH magic hasn't been properly covered to tell us why. The appearance is PRETTY important. Have a look at Xemnas and Ansem. Xemnas, being Terra's body, takes on an appearance more similar to Terra, while his heart is an exact copy of Xehanort. The fact that a heart takes on the exact appearance of their body is in itself interesting. It's explicitly stated that the second keyblade comes from Ventus' heart. Now Xion. First of all, Repliku had a heart, so it's distinctly possible that Xion did as well. But anyways, as Riku said, her keyblade was a fake. This might have changed as she started absorbing more of Roxas' power, however. Technically Sora has about 1.75 hearts. His own, the half of Ventus' that was left after Vanitas was purged, and a portion of Kairi's, since her heart was inside him when he created their Nobodies. But yeah, Ventus' heart has taken direct shelter inside Sora.
Doesn't mean much if the game is big and needs lots of localization, never mind they might censor stuff
Specifically, does anybody else hope they do more with party members in KH3? Dream Eaters may have been pretty bad AI, but they've made marked improvement since the days of KH1 and 2. I'd like to see new weapons you can equip for party members beyond Donald and Goofy, and maybe even a side quest that lets you get their best weapon, or something. Basically stuff that makes them still viable in late game. What do you want to see from party members in KH3?
Though we slid back to seven months of waiting for KH1.5 which WAS just ports, besides redubbing (and not even lip syncing) the Days cutscenes
