I think Critical Mode makes it easier unless you stay level 1 (then it's just cheap difficulty) because it gives you so much AP, but that's just me. But yeah, I'm talking item grinding. No weapons in KH2FM give you Lucky Lucky, and Sora doesn't learn it anymore, plus you don't get a Lucky Ring from the tournament like in KH2. The only way to get the same number of Lucky Luckys is to synthesize Lucky Rings, which requires beating a secret boss... Terra I think? So it just makes finding materials a pain :/ (Never mind those materials you get form heartless minigames and ONLY heartless minigames. Those sucked in H1FM too)
It all adds up
Kirby's Epic Yarn, 3 dollars Sin and Punishment Star Successor 3 dollars Final Fantasy X or X-2 5 bucks each KH1, 2 or Re:CoM 5 bucks each Final Fantasy 1 or 2 5 bucks Dissidia FF 5 bucks Dirge of Cerberus 5 bucks Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echos of Time 0.49 regular Crystal Chronicles 3 bucks FF12 5 bucks So that's what I found searching KH and FF on the EB Games website. Comes to 39.50. Or, for an extra ten bucks you could get PlayStation Plus, that's dozens of games too. Assassin's Creed Liberation HD is 20 bucks. Indie games are dirt cheap, Humble Bundles offer plenty of games for whatever price you want
For 30-40 I could get SO MANY GAMES
Cheating because you say that you can't get new games for that price. But if you compare something similar, ie used PS2 games from 2006... then you cna buy TONNES of games for that price. It's like Dissidia and Dissidia Duodecim. Objectively, Duodecim is better. But I don't like all the changes made in Duodecim, like how they made chases pretty much a waste of time. KH2FM is a weaker example, since I do prefer FM (dem Org fights) but I LOATH how much harder they made grinding in this game.
No way, KH2FM is definitely a GREAT package. I played it in full on an emulator with a widescreen patch. THAT'S definitive. I still like grinding in KH2 better though, because getting lucky rings is the biggest pain ever in KH2FM. It's a great value, for sure, but not really worth the pain of setup and still very high price but that's definitely cheating getting it used. The game is nearing a decade old now, and costs 40 dollars? I could get DOZENS of PS2 games from that era for 40 bucks. Heck, I could get newer games used on Ebay and still get a couple for 40 bucks
40 bucks sure sounds nice. According to playasia I'm looking at 120 dollars for KH2FM+ That's Bravely Default, A Link Between Worlds and some other third thing. And don't you need a modded on Japanese PS2 to play it, too?
A few extras that Square Enix clearly didn't want my money for anyways? No, not really. There are better games that actually make it here
Bu if you saved the same amount of money and didn't import you could get three regular games instead
imports are for people who hate having money
It's all about optimization. PS1 emus are a fair bit clunkier than PCSX2
Gamecube is far harder to emulate tan PS2. Besides Gameboy Advance I'm pretty sure PS2 emulation is the smoothest out there
Not everyone has a good enough PC to emulate, plus FM+ adds some annoying balance alterations, like removing a lot of chances to get the Lucky Lucky ability.
Nomura knew who the 14th member was a year before the game was released? I should hope so, if the plot wasn't at finalized at that poin that would be ludicrous. And that's 2007. KH2 came out in 2004, never mind it was in development way before that. They foreshadowed BBS, but BBS had a far longer developement cycle and was announced before Days, plus BBS started off as a PS2 game, and is considered the next numbered KH title after KH2. And if Xion didn't have a background then why would she be in that picture? Why is she standing with Saix anyways? Why does she have no defining characteristics whatsoever? Even if that IS Xion it's a terrible foreshadow because it shares no likeness with her. And there's no way a picture of her could exist, either, because she was completely erased from the timeline. If Xion was planned then why are there absolutely no references to her existence in KH2? And again, that drawing is basically a black blob. You have to REALLY reach to think that looks like Xion
It's not significant It just takes forever and is boring
I recently completed my own run of KH2 for my gameplay channel, missed two chests in Twilight Town, but that's all. They're always in little nooks, it's not hard to predict their location at all
Xemnas doesn't control TWTNW. Even if he did, that just means if the fight wasn't in TWTNW Xemnas would lost that ability. And Vader does control something. The Force.
It's just a random Org member. Xion wasn't conceptualized yet. There is nothing defining about those two smaller characters. They don't look like Saix and they don't look like Xion.
Oh, so you completely finished Jiminy's Journal? Did all the skateboarding missions, and the Light Cycle?
Is that really relevant? Leaving it out makes the plot seem more logical. The problems in the other games are caused because Etro's a trusting idiot
