Just gonna keep reposting this: https://twitter.com/JimSterling/status/428724420249538560 Seriously silly idea.
So if he mega evolves then that'll be kinda relevant It still seems a touch lazy to reuse him, same way it is to reuse Toon Link. I mean don't get me wrong, I love Toon Link, he;s my man in Brawl. But stuff like Toon Link and Lucario really seem like one-offs to me
Days starts before CoM
I'm glad the Spam Zone is a one stop shop for all topics that belong in other forums Also why wouldn't anybody have played the first game Also VI is the best answer. IX comes second
Of all the franchises, Pokemon should be getting new characters. Maybe Lucario will be updated to have his mega evo as a final smash, but something more relevant to current gen would make more sense. And stuff like Toon Link. If they need a Link clone, couldn't they at least use the model from a recent Zelda game? I'm just having a hard time imagining who they're cutting if they're keeping all these characters from previous games.
Remember when they said they were going to trim the fat with this Smash Bros
There's been a really good fan made version floating around for ages:
BBS ---> KH1 -> CoM ----> KH2 --> Re:Coded -> DDD ---> KH3 .............KH 358/2 Days In terms of specific time, roughly ten years between BBS and KH1, about 20 days between KH1 and CoM. 25 days later Sora falls asleep. Sora sleeps for 316 days, awakens for KH2. 358/2 Days starts when Sora loses his heart in Hollow Bastion during KH1 and ends 357 days later, KH2 picking up immediately after. CoM takes place during days 24-49. Re:Coded takes place an unspecified time after KH2's ending and DDD takes place an unspecified time after that (With certain scenes taking place during parts of KH1 as well as Xehanort's boyhood. And KH3 will take place an unspecified time after that.
awesome
But was any of what they left out actually important?
It seems like memories are stored in the brain, but connected through hearts
Ansem SoD has ben Riku's foil since CoM But yeah, there are lot o intentional parallels between Xehanort and Riku. Riku, Repliku, Xehanort, YMX and Vanitas all use slight variations of the same battle stance, and I'd imagien Xehanort's naturally grey hair wasn't an accident. However, what this suggests to me is that Riku was influenced by Xehanort, more than anything. When someone if possessed by Xehanort their hair goes grey, when Vanitas possessed Ventus, Ventus took on Vanitas' stance. And in weird instances like Terranort, Xehanort has been seen to influence the outlook of a person.
They basically reduced it back down the the SNES era, when plots were a bit on the nose, but fully functional and logical!

It's on sale. All the PS1 classics are
FF6 and FF4 are the most popualr introductions to the series. FF7 is culturally important, so there's that. FF3 and FF5 are probably a bit overwhelming for a first game, and FF1 and 2 haven't aged well. The Dissidia games are some pretty fun and unique fighting games. Just get Duodecim though: it literally comes with an enhanced remake of the first game. Tactics has a great stor, it's a pretty neat strategy game. FF13-2 is the newest and I like it quite a bit, but it's not for everyone, and honestly, there are better games on sale. FF9 is a really great game, but I'd recommend playing that after playing other FF games, since it references a lot of them. Personally, I think FF6 is the best one, but it really depends on if you want to play the best game first. You also need some tolerance for oldschool style games. Honestly, I like the GBA version better though. FF4 Collection is a pretty sweet deal, definitive versions of FF4 and its surprisingly great sequel, plus a bonus interquel game that's decently lengthy.
I'm good
I jsut checked and... it is on sale! Rejoice!
what fad
Are you sure? When I heard about this the list said FF3 was on sale for 10 bucks (9 for PS+)
