It matches him in Days, but first of all Days was made after KH2, but the purpose of Deyx is pretty clear in KH2. Yen Sid warns Sora at teh start of the game that Nobodies will try to deceive you by pretending to have emotions. The only time this is brought back up is with Demyx. That's Demyx's purpose as far as things go. To how that Nobodies can act as if they have emotions, but they're ultimately cold and detached.

All BEFORE he sheds that and fights Sora for real.
In KH2 they used Demyx to show what not having a heart was like. Demyx ACTED like he was aloof and carefree, but it's just an act.

    To quote Demyx
"You shouldn't judge anybody by appearance"
He then goes on to say "Silence, traitor" and reveals he's actually a competent fighter.

Demyx's nice guy thing was a facade, you see this right before his final fight. The Org is seen manipulating the Heartless population in Days, and there are Nobody recruiters in the Organization who basically look for strong hearted people and turn them into a heartless to increase their numbers

It goes beyond just believing a lie though. Pretty much all the Org members go around creating heartless, causing trouble with Nobodies, and such. The greater good in this case is just their own selfish ends. Hardly commendable or sympathetic

I don't watch much in the way of comedians, but the people from Whose Line is it Anyways? are pretty rad

    I disagree with EVERYBODY
Jokes rely so much on delivery and context. You don't need to work on something to make it funny, in fact that can often lead to overthinking it which can weaken a joke. the most well thought out joke delivered poorly will still fail to be funny, but a person can make sound effects at the right moment and get applause.
People shouldn't really defend a joke when it fails though. If you failed to make your joke clear to the recipient or many of the people, the failure is yours, not theirs. It's a failure of knowing your audience. That's why it's easy and fun to get a laugh with your friends. You know your friends, you know their boundaries and expectations pretty well, you know what buttons to press, what to avoid.
But the thing about the internet is that you're never REALLY alone (besides private chats and such I suppose) any time you make a joke on a forum or youtube or whatever your audience is potentially EVERY USER of that service.
As for what comedy actually is, it's basically about expectations. If a person says "I will hit you with a pie" then something has to come of it. Whether they hit them with the buy, they get hit by everything but the pie, they get hit by the pie and die instantly, or whatever. The actual VALUE of the comedy comes from the context and audience though

Days has Limit Breaks, which are close enough, and honestly the rest of the KH games are similar enough, but KH1 is just kinda an odd one out

Well just referencing something doesn't automatically make it a joke.

And yeah, don't get why people are getting all uppity about this, I think it looks cool. People are screaming the end of Zelda from the tallest building they can find and I can't really find any decent reason why

They already said something about Namco characters. I can't remember their exact words, but it was either a definite no, or a very unlikely maybe.

It has very little contrast, it almost looks like a graphic out of the Re:Coded minigame, KHX or Theatrhythm

Beyond that, saying it's rude to the artist to criticize them is just silly on a bunch of levels.

KH1 doesn't really have much in the way of animation. But this topic is about limits, so I was thinking more KH2, BBS, that sort of thing

This is pretty much key to enjoying KH at all on any level beyond gameplay. If you look at what they were probably INTENDING the KH story gets significantly better.
