It happens with other devices sure, but how many devices are typically placed in a living room or bedroom with a super advanced camera that can go as far as sense your pulse?
Specifically the Mirage Arena. Do you think they'll just axe the feature? Or preserve it in some way? If they preserve it, how do you think it'll be handled? Split screen? Online? Both maybe?
Gotta say, I'm not liking how the combat seems to barely function... and overall seems be very.... DDDish. What was wrong with the good old days when Sora could have flowing combat with enemies that satisfyingly reacted to your every attack? Negative nacying aside, this looks fantastic, even in its early state ... gotta love that part where they zoom in on completely default Donald for no reason! I'm loving the overall stylishness and ease at which Sora uses his attacks though, mostly the magic now I just kinda wonder... are those rides going to be a major part of the gaemplay? If so, that seems almost exactly like Disney meddling... but you know what? Sora versus Xehanort, final battle It's a Small World ride just imagine "This world... is just to small"
I'm willing to bet the enhanced models in DDD are the ones being used, possibly with some modifications, and obviously with enhanced textures. On the topic of the trailer, I really can't say more on the subject, I never looked into it myself in any serious capacity, so I'll just defer to you. Months is a HUGE stretch. The capes would almost definitely be physics based in the gameplay, only being fully rendered in the few cutscenes they appear in. And considering Aqua's armour appears in the same game that Terra's armour does and Terra's has a cape, I'm going to assume that they intentionally didn't have the cape in KH2GM. It would not take months for a dedicated team of animators to apply completely custom animations to all of the BBS animations (There really aren't actually that many) I should amend this is a big "PROBABLY" because I don't know how Square Enix works internally, but from what In know on the subject, it wouldn't be that difficult. Especially for the type of cape they would employ, one that keeps most of its shape, and most likely doesn't consist of veyr many polygons. Even removing THAT, keep i mind that the capes were REMOVED from the game, so the capes already exist in some capacity. If they still have the old data than it becoems completely trivial, but even with just some of it it wouldn't be that hard (Personally, if I was going to do capes in BBS, I'd make a force roughly 1.5 times the size of the character's body that the cape collides with, ensuring that it doesn't get close to the body in the first place, and if it glitches out it'll still probably not be withing range of clipping... though I can't help but wonder how much Square would even care about clipping, especially for just a remake... from what I recall, Dissidia had a fair bit of clipping.. but Square Enix is a graphics whore... bleh, I dunno)
I suppose. Very lazy continuity error to still use the capes in the cgi opening...
The easiest comparison to make is Aqua, look at her hair, it's much higher quality than it was in BBS. As for the quality thing, I've never done a comparison myself, but anecdotally what other people have said matches with what I've seen. Stuff like textures that still don't look that great in the HD remake being upscaled just for the trailer... the example I'm recalling off the top of my head is when Ansem/Riku tries to steal Sora's heart at Hollow Bastion And they'd better add the capes. It would take very little effort, and unlike most other changes; it'll actually resolve the plot hole of the laziness that is the BBS intro
Just feel like I should point out that those graphics aren't going to actually look like they do in the trailer. That said, higher quality models for TAV exist and were used in DDD, additionally, since the game was downscaled from PS2, relix of that probably exist But what I REALLY want, is capes Please give me capes
Plus an actually fun Critical Mode, an awesome new Drive Form, a bunch of new enemies and mini games. Just overall the most increased value for you buck, at least in America
To those of you more excited about BBSFM... sorry to be the bearer of bad news but BBS FM is probably the weakest FM. KH2FM meanwhile adds SO MUCH CONTENT. That game alone would be worth the 40 dollar price
Well drive forms were just basically magic steroids, the only ability I can think of that Sora learns is that dash move in the Pride Lands All I'm saying is that more likely than not, Sora will just have these abilities. Training isn't really KH's style so far, really.
Sora gained abilities in KH2 after sleeping for months, there's no particular reason why there has to be a reason for Sora gaining new abilities
Why would you think that?
Glad this is finally confirmed so people can stop acting like it wasn't inevitable. So stoked for this, KH2FM alone is a GREAT value, adding in BBS, one of the best KH games in most people's opinion, and it just becomes a fantastic package. Shame about Re:Coded though, most people can agree that story was not its strongest point. And it'll probably be pretty short, too, if they do the Days thing and skip the Disney stuff (Almost all of the main story stuff has been done in a proper cutscene already) (Also I like how they managed to make the title even more stupid by making it II.5 instead of 2.5)
probably about identical
There's a precedent for releasing the game on steam, FFVII got a PC release back in the day
CFW isn't really tricky at all, just move some files in, press the buttons to install and boom. You may have to fiddle with the settings for Remote Joy a little, but still The end result is a nearly free method of easily recording with top of the line quality
Yeah, component. So if you want to use it with your composite Roxio, you'll need a converter like this: http://www.amazon.com/Component-Com...421221&sr=8-1&keywords=component+to+composite (Though that one's pricey)
