They can fix a bad line, and in the end, a lot of good lines goes a long way to a good story. Riku and Axel DON'T have good lines. They have good catch phrases. You're underestimating the power of the written word. It can give us context to things we probably don't need it for. While the exact words that could have saved BBS' plot elude me, and clearly you as well, I do believe they exist

If you can find one, get one of the fat models that can run PS2 games. It upscales them, so games like KH2 look damn pretty on it. The thing is, they're rare. So if you DO find one, it might be worth more than you paid down the line Otherwise, I'd say just go for a slim. They have more memory generally, and from what I've heard they don't have as frequent overheating problems as the fat model Of course, it also depends on how many games you plan on getting . Like if this is just for like KH1.5 and a few others, I'd say try and keep it cheap One last thing, not ALL fat models can run PS2 games, so keep an eye out
The thing is, with Terra, it's ridiculously inconsistent. I feel like they didn't want to write a negative story or Terra in BBS, so instead of showing his steady fall to darkness, we get world after world of Terra triumphing over darkness, learning life lessons... and then being told that he had done terrible things and was now the darkness. It's a very strange arc There are still shades of it in the later games. Sora's discussion about Santa Claus in KH2 will always be my go to example. But that's exactly the thing, KH1 set up a pretty solid foundation, and CoM was a pretty good continuation... but then someone decided KH2 should have the character depth of anime cliches
