But that's the thing, rather than try and get the mode to be more polished and interesting... they're just axing it. Sakurai said the 3DS version will have a single player mode. But even then, it will be MORE lame than All Stars, because All Stars HAD a few cutscenes. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Sakurai has said the resources that would have gone into making cutscenes and such are instead going into advertising.
