Because the Wii U isn't powerful enough
I'll open your mind to a word shattering idea: just because the game as a whole will be worse, doesn't mean one can't be worse than the other Obviously the system it's made for will be the superior version, but it still takes time and manpower that could be devoted to making the game better. The reason I chose Final Fantasy XIII as an example was because it's the perfect example of this. It started off PS3 exclusive, but became multiplatform, and after that you cna watch in amazement was features dropped and the graphics worsened. It's still better on the PS3, but a lot was lost anyways Multiplatform games suffer That's just how it works
Um... no It takes time and manpower to port a game to a console, and the more powerful console has to be nerfed. That's what happened with Final Fantasy XIII Here's the thing, I'm NOT theorizing here, this is the result of multiconsole. A game that is made for a single console is better because it can be optimized, and it will get the full attention of the team The game WILL be worse than it should be because of this decision. That much is a fact
It WILL hurt it though. Becuase now they have t devote time to porting it, AND the game will be restricted to the inferior specs of the xbone Were getting a worse version of KH3 so i can appear on the xbone I'm sure it'll still be a great game But it'll be worse than it should be
I dunno As soon as I found out it was coming our for the xbone, my hype level actually dropped significantly. I have such a negative association with that console. After finding out Doritos and Mountain Dew were doing a promotion for the Xbone, I felt less inclined to eat either of those things It's the same basic deal here. But there's more. Why, of all the games for KH to go multiplatform, Kingdom Hearts THREE? Multiplatform hurts games, and Kingdom Hearts 3 has a LOT to live up to. And why pick the third game to debut on a microsoft console? Sure, it was kinda silly to put the third mass effect on the Wii U, but at least Mass Effect is just three games, spanning four years, not SEVEN games spanning over a DECADE. And KH's plot is FAR more complex than Mass Effect's, so a simple recap isn't going to cut it. It just feels so wrong and the xbone is so terrible It has actually retroactively undone a lot of my hype, and that makes me sad Am I the only one who feels this?

yeah, we kinda knew that, Nomura made a bunch of references to preproduction of KH3, the only reason nobody really talked about this was because people misread Nomura's interview about Versus XIII and thought KH3 wouldn't begin development until the game was finished
