The admin of this site bypasses the swear filter I don't think it'll be an issue
yes promble?
But the thing is names DON'T always need an really overt meaning. Like Claire in Final Fantasy, sounds like a normal name but... it really means LIGHTNING DUN DUN DUN
I really hope not. Just give us Sora. Maybe a helper character like Mickey in KH2 Split time between more and more characters and the game suffers more and more for it
Aleksander looks silly and sounds like Alexander... why not just have Alexander? Walther is... odd, especially considering I'm assuming they're related to Aleksander Zoe Grivas sounds decent, though last name may be a bit close to 'grievous' Chandler Bryant sounds off. Chandler is a functional but very tame sounding name, though I don't think the name Bryant goes will with anything Pearce is a better name than Chandler. More versatile Darcy Nielsen sounds WAY too normal compared to the rest of these Mars sounds pretty cool, just a tad silly Aaliyah sounds like a no-name brand version of Aeris All in all, they're kinda awkward, and seem a bit like they're trying too hard to be meaningful
It's fitting, too considering teh hard on Microsoft seems to have for TV
Wait what? Cyan gets the scene with the roses during the apocalypse, and then after that he returns to his home to and gets closure over his dead family Shadow has a subtly told story done through flashbacks you get from inn rests Setzer is that guy with the girl he loved who both had ships but she died and he became depressed and a womanizing criminal Terra gets phased out because she's the main character of the first half, Celes is the main character for the second. I don't hate VIII as much as most people, but I find the cast overall... disjointed. Things that SHOULD be there isn't. Like Squall losing his edge is a logical character arc, but this is shown by him randomly falling in love with Rinoa. And that romance is bad. It's defined not by how they are romantically compatible, but rather the bold actions Squall takes because he says he's in love. Zell and Selphie's quirks never appealed to me, and I never even remember Quistis. And what's his face with a cowboy hat is even more wasted I quite liked the Laguna bits, but even those bits could get really awkward

But you can't find ALL the trivia. And there are opinions or just the fact that the trivia is said orally, as opposed to a wall of text or something
Sforzato are you me .
The difference is that FFVI has a lot more charm going for it. There are a number of factors to this. The simpler sprites and limited animation let players draw their own conclusions about the characters, the characters were also not based around the concept of introducing and unlikable cast and having them become likable as time went on (Which was VIII's intent, but I never ended up getting past their early characterizations because not enough time was spent on the characters late in the story) and the goofy Ted Woolsey translation adds its own charm As for Seifer vs Kefka... well, everyone has a different reason to like or dislike him. Personally, I like the fact that they didn't pull punches with his actions. He's kind of like the good iterations of the Joker. He cracks wise, but then he'll poison a kingdom... and then make a pun
Gameplay story segregation, yeah, but this isn't gameplay, not really. It's story that happens to happen during a battle. The implication is that Seifer s so badass he can do a reverse zantetsuken, and I KNOW that Square wanted him to be this badass... but it doesn't come across. He's barely a factor in the story If FFVIII had a much tighter focus, as opposed to the loose nonsense it currently is, it would probably be the best FF story Or at least one of the best
That scene was so disproportionately badass though, he never does anything cool enough to justify that scene. It's also a bad idea to get Gilgamesh, since he interferes with the dog search move
I don't hate the game, but it's definitely low on my list. The gameplay is actually pretty fun if you use a guide, and don't mind grinding like crazy at the start. I don't like how magic more or less became useless because of the junction system though (Why would you cast magic when it actively makes you weaker and doesn't actually do as much damage as a physical attack?) The characters and story I personally thought were unfocused. They couldn't really decide what they wanted to do with any of it, and I think it suffers for it. I'veheard that the main story was put on the back seat so they could focus on making an amazing love story... but that love story is terrible. Ultemecia and Seifer are massively wasted villains and the game is full of way too much guide dang it And just how did Squall survive that ice spike the size of his torso being stabbed through him?
YEAH TEAM AGNOSTIC
XD
