OOC: WAIT! I'm Number Nine! In the Underworld, Demyx was getting bored of kicking helpless souls around when he suddenly had a peculiar feeling. "Whoa," he muttered. "I suddenly had a peculiar feeling." He paused, sure that someone had just said what he had just said. "Like someone's trying to steal my number or something." He looked back. "HEY!" he shouted, panicked when he saw that the dialogue was repeating the prose. "The dialogue is repeating the prose!" He let out a terrified scream. "AH! I did it again!"
OOC: Saix IS a bunny hater! I want to come hunt wabbits! Larxene rose to her feet. "Mind if I join you, Number Seven?" she asked. "I feel like killing something."
I am far too easily amused... mind if I be Larxene? ~Jade
Jade watched as the grey-clothed figure disappeared, and she turned her irritated gaze to Mr. Nobody. "You're lucky," she told him, the faintest hint of rage glimmering in her onyx eyes as her target escaped. "If the bounty on you were higher, you'd be in chains right now." She looked over the faceless man's shoulder, and a muscle in her cheek twitched. "Right now, I think you've got bigger problems." She indicated the approaching swarms of hornets closing in on their location by raising her chin. "Good luck with that." She holstered her pistol and gave him a pat on the arm, then simply seemed to melt into the shadows leaving Mr. Nobody behind. The female bounty hunter made her way to the warehouses; the same flaming buildings from which Zaiuku had escaped from. The heat from the flames was drying out the muddy ground; had Zaiuku left a few minutes later, the bare dirt would have been dried completely. However, the night before it had rained heavily, leaving mud wherever there were patches of dirt. Before the flames had dried out the ground, Zaiuku had stepped in the mud, leaving incriminating tracks leading away from the warehouse. Zaiuku hadn't gone far; she must have been distracted by her and Mr. Nobody's face-off. Jade saw the grey-clothed female crouched behind a bush, and only a long history of tracking down merchandise kept a victorious grin from crossing her face. This was almost too easy. She ducked around into a back alley, then with all the stealth of a panther, slipped her wire-garrote around Zaiuku's neck.
Well, this looks interesting... ScreenName: Jade Rhade Character: Tifa How you would act: Cool and collected, Tifa remains optimistic in the worst of situations; accomplished martial artist. Reason: I'm intrigued. I've never participated in an RPG on this site with this many people/characters all at once. ~Jade
"If you're not listening to music, you are singing," Larxene snarled at Number Eight. "Who do you think you are, the Melodious Nocturne?"
Larxene flinched and let out a surprised outcry as she turned and saw the Heartless swarming over the Superior. She whipped out her kunai, but paused. If Xemnas hadn't killed them himself, she doubted he would want her to interfere. "You think too much," she told him, wondering if her words would even penetrate the vague haze around her leader. "I know the value of meditation, but sometimes you take it too far, sir." She glared ominously as one of the Shadows fixed her with a bulbous yellow eye, then as one the Shadows scattered. After all, why should the Heartless bother them, unless expressly compelled to? None of them possessed a heart for the taking.
Soundtrack music... depending on what movie/show it's from, it came be soft and relaxing, or it can be rougher and more hardcore. ~Jade
Jade threw herself to the sidewalk as the hotel she was approaching exploded into flame. She covered her head with both arms, feeling her jacket being peppered with flaming splinters of wood and shreds of cloth that could only have belonged to clothing- clothing that was being worn until recently. "Zaiuku," she muttered, rising to her feet and observing the fire roaring up into the night sky. The heat was intense, and the flickering flames threw her face into sharp relief. A dark figure emerging from the flames caught her attention, and Jade's ebony eyes narrowed. Zaiuku, her instincts whispered. Having learned long ago to listen to her intincts, the female bounty hunter ducked into the cover of an alley and watched as Zaiuku made her way down the street. Silent as a wraith, Jade followed, staying to the shadows. The person who must have been Zaiuku set twelve warehouses aflame as Jade watched. With a silent curse, Jade reached to the silver wire securing her long hair in a ponytail and pulled it loose, allowing her wavy black locks to fall freely down her chest. She straightened the garrote and slipped out onto the street. So intent was she on her quarry that she didn't hear the rhythmic thud thud of running footsteps until it was too late, and a man wearing a tan fedora and trenchcoat slammed into her full-speed. A startled curse burst from her between her lips, and almost quicker than sight she stepped back to regain her balance and flung the wire across his neck, dragging him into the shadows beside her. A flick of her wrist allowed her hold-out pistol to drop into her waiting palm, and she pressed it against the back of her assailant's head, removing the garrote and using her free hand to turn him to face her- though whether the term 'face' could accurately be used was a matter for debate. "Mr. Nobody," Jade greeted coolly. "This is a surprise."
OOC: We have been on Day Two for a while now. Ominously, Larxene felt something click in her collar. She froze and glared down at it to see a dial that had previously read "XII" now read "XI". "Day Three," she murmured to herself. "Eleven more days to go." She looked up through the trees at the bright sunlight; though it was not morning in this artifical world, evidently the timers built into their collars marked the universal time throught Castle Oblivion. She scooted across the rough ground to Zexion and impulsively crushed him in a hug. "For the food." Without giving him the opportunity to respond, Larxene levered herself to her feet and gave Lexaeus the same hug. "For the shelter," she told the Silent Hero. She pointed at both the Organization members in turn, eyes glinting. "Don't get used to that," she warned. "I can only be so nice before I overload and have to torture something." ~Day Three~Designated Room #4815162342~Isla Cruces
"WAAAAHHH!" Demyx shrieked as he plummeted through the darkness and landed with a thud on the hard rocky ground of the Underworld. He rolled several times, yelping "ow!" with each rock he hit. Eventually, his uncontrollable tumble came to a stop right at the edge of the Lake of Souls. Demyx's eyes were wide as he gingerly peeked out at the massive green lake he had almost plopped into. "Whoa... landing in that would not have been good," he pointed out to whoever was listening. Actually, quite a few gamers playing Kingdom Hearts II at that precise moment began to throw popcorn at their television screens shouting "GET ON WITH IT!" "I don't exactly know what I'm supposed to be doing here..." Demyx continued, frowning. He reached into that still-mysterious pocket and pulled out a sheaf of notecards. "Let's see here... OH! Here it is!" He held this particular card at arm's length and squinted at the writing. Anything in parathesis he had added in for his own benefit. "If you (meaning me, Demyx) find yourself being thrown through a portal in one of the berzerker rages of Number Seven (Saix), avoid the Lake of Souls (big glowy green lake-like thing) and any world that invites you to sing (Singing=Bad). Once you find yourself through a portal, wander around a bit. Steal something (SHINY!). Return to place where you (me) were thrown through the portal. (DO NOT FEED SAIX COOKIES) "Okay!" Demyx shrugged cheerfully. "I guess I'll go steal some stuff!"
Umm, no actually. Up until halfway through The World That Never Was, Riku had only the Soul Eater, not the keyblade Way to the Dawn. What Riku referred to as "the road to dawn" was when DiZ asks: "The road to dawn" mentioned there was more figurative than literal. ~Jade
In the parking garage of the office building, Jade snapped her cell phone shut and threw her leg over her motorcycle. She gunned the engine and sped through the door and onto the street. Night had fallen by now; no stars were visible in the sky through the haze of electric lights. She'd just received a call from one of her informants; an unknown female matching the description of Zaiuku had been seen leaving an apartment building now under police survillence. Jade could feel the cold blade of her combat knife pressed against her calf inside her boot, and the comforting weight of her hold-out pistol against her right forearm. They were among her favorite weapons. She screeched to a halt against the back wall of the apartment building and yanked her keys out of the ignition. With the police milling about outside, Jade calmly made her way around teh wreckage and glanced around. The police seemed to be involved in some kind of standoff with an unknown male; she acknowledged his presence, then made her way to the abandoned security desk. Unnoticed amongst all the shouting, sirens, and gunshots, Jade pulled up the video footage from mere minutes ago. After a few seconds of rewinding, she paused the black-and-white tape and hit "play", studying the tiny images carefully. A female matching the last known description of Zaiuku left the apartment building; she watched the officers for a moment, then moved on down the street, out of the camera's range. Jade reset the security cameras to exactly how they had been before she had arrived and went back out onto the sidewalk, looking down the way Zaiuku could have gone. The closest possible building in sight was a hotel. Zaiuku must be there.
Larxene snatched a bowl from beside the fire and dipped it in the pot. Without use of any type of utensil, she raised the bowl to her lips and drank. "This is good," she mumbled, picking out pieces of what she hoped was stewed rabbit with her fingers and shoving them into her mouth, though at this point she could have cared less. "Why are we on this world, anyway? Besides the food, I mean." She finished what was in her bowl and scooped up more.
Larxene's nose twitched. Food? She smelled... food? She gingerly cracked open one eye, which promptly widened as her stomach growled. "Food!" she shouted, jolting upright. "I am starving!" Her eyes flicked among the various Organization members inside the shelter. "I don't care who made it or what it is, I want some." Her stomach growled again, an impatient reminder that she had recently expended most of her energy and it needed to be replenished. She heard loud music and tilted her head. Maybe she'd been more injured that she thought... no, wait. It was Axel. "Dammit!" she yelled, startling them all by jumping to her feet. "What did we say about the iPod!?!?" She stormed over to Number VIII and snarled in his face. "I want food. I want your music... off. I want you to pay attention, not BLOCK OUT THE WORLD WITH YOUR MUSIC!!"
I've always thought that KH works a lot better if you're a fan in an older age range. It's a really deep, dark series; your average ten year old isn't going to grasp that. It's the Disney factor that scares away some older people, and it could be the Square Enix factor scares away some parents buying this game for their younger children. *shrug* ~Jade
Either Green Day or My Chemical Romance... I love MCR. Except do I really qualify? I was on the bus today and "Welcome To The Black Parade" came on and I started singing at the top of my lungs... while on a bus full of people. ^-^ That's what Jade does; Jade does highly embarrassing things in public places! ~Jade EDIT: And "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. :p
Where did Riku get it? This is my theory. It may have already been stated by someone, or everyone else may already know this, but: I believe Way to the Dawn was created when Riku clipped a keychain to the Soul Eater. Any objections? ~Jade
I think it goes along with the fact that Roxas is also PALER that Sora. (Yes, I had a discussion with Random Idiot about this, once) From the information we have (which is limited by Roxas and Xemnas) the Nobodies appear to be paler than their others. Therefore, that's probably why Roxas's hair is lighter. ~Jade
You became friends with someone at your school because he looks like Roxas.
